CEL then Car Acting Strange

Hello, I am hoping you guys can help me. I tried to search but not sure exactly what to search on this one.

I was on my way to work this morning, as I was getting on the express way I gave the ralliart some gas. As I passed about 5200RPM the CEL came on. After that the car has been shifting crazy hard when at part throttle and seams like there is little to no boost above 4K RPM. I'm at work and have not had a chance to read the code yet. Anyone ever have this issue or any ideas what is going on? Thanks in advance for all your help

The computer will go into a 'limp mode' to get you home. Have the code read (tell us what it is) and cleared (and see if it comes back).

My tranny shift fork #2 kicked a code and the tranny went into limp mode (gears 2/4/6 only...) reset and has not come back after atleast 4K miles...

Got the code read. It was a P0102 (MAP voltage low). Going to check everything now.

Check the wiring and then change the sensor.

the MAP is the mass airflow sensor. IT will be located right after the intake filter. Thats your culprit!

^negative.

MAP is Manifold Absolute Pressure (vacuum (or boost ). MAF is Mass Air Flow Sensor (incoming air volume)...

Did you end up solving your issue? Boost leak? BPV Leak?
