Here is my tech. w/2step. ((This should be done only at the track)) ((And be careful - or your clutch is not going to like you much longer))

At the lights use shallow stage. This means as soon as you engage the 1st amber, slowly roll into the 2nd amber. As soon as that is lit, stop. ((This gives you a few extra inches to get it moving before the timers come on.))

Clutch in, gas to the floor, bouncing off 2step. Walk the clutch out a little bit just to the point that you feel all the slack coming out of it. Almost to the point of moving the car - hold it right there.

Amber, amber, green --- walk the clutch back fast but not dumping. Hold on for dear life and you are off and running (of course go before you see green - its all in the timing).

When done right it feels like all 4 are spinning and you are going like a bat-outta-hell.

On stock turbo and cams shift at 6800 to 7000 in all gears. You should be in 4th through the traps (GSR/RS for gearing)

if you dont have 2 step(which I believe you do, correct me if Im wrong someone), rev to 5500rpm and slip your clutch. If you are unsure of what that means, Ill explain. Rev to 5500rpm, slowly release the clutch until you start moving, the more you move, the faster you can let the clutch out. With practice, itll get much easier. My advice, get 2 step launch control and use it when launching. What ever you do: DO NOT DUMP THE CLUTCH!!!

Are you a pirate?

Srsly, clutch in, in first gear, floor it, quickly and smoothly release clutch (don't sidestep it), hold on.

It's a good idea if you want to go fast. Not a good idea if you want your clutch to last a long time. Hence why launching the car is hard on the clutch.
