Wait a minute...was this at MIR? Are you freakin kidding me? That's one of the best tracks in the country and definitely the best in the area. This whole time you were talking about MIR as having poor track prep? Please tell me you were NOT at MIR...

The Dc Evo Club has over 1100 members, and we go to MIR and race a lot. Do you not know we exist? We could have saved you a lot of embarrassment if you were part of the local club and talked to us about this first...

Maybe the mods should close this thread. Sounds like a lot of BS to me. I think most of us here know what a 03-04 Cobra is capable at the track. If he did win the thread should read I caught a Cobra off guard not they are over rated.

 

It was at MIR. The track prep for test and tune was not that great. My friend in his Mustang GT with 4.30's and ET Streets couldn't even hook up. He usually cuts 1.6 60's and he had a best of 1.8 on Sunday.

 

Yeah, well, you're still talking about one of the best tracks in the entire Eastern Seaboard. You also said that it's a recurring theme there that Cobras only get 13s, which I know is a crock of ****, since I've been there 5 times this year and had my *** whooped multiple times by Cobras...and I always run much closer to 11s than I do 13s...

The overated thing was just him being excited. Beating a stock Cobra is not that difficult. Mame won, he has the slip. That is the bottom line.
