best time yet
I went to the track for the last day of the year . good thing i did . was a full secong faster than i ran before tuning. i new i picked up so time but not that much . i put down 289 whp and 298 tq . i have buschur tbe , maf pipe kit , exedy twin disk and a chepo megan racing header.still stock turbo im tuned to run 27 psi with race gas . but it was a last minuet thing to get out to the track so i didnt have time to get some race gas . So i was only running 24 psi on 92 . when i filled up i had a 1/4 of 80% race gas and 20% 92 oct.
im very happy with the time since a few of my evo friends have about 370 whp and i ran faster than they do
heres a lin to the vid i ran a 12.287 @ 110.78 with a 1.809 60 foot time
best pass

Miguel, you're always exaggerating. Do it, then spew it. Until then, there's nothing that makes your car a "should-be" 12.1-12.2-sec car. YOu may do that one day, but you've been saying the same thing for a long time without doing it.
Dreaminevo, good job, but you should never EVER have a race gas tune and drive without race gas. That is probably why you have a good ET with a low trap speed. You can't hit a 12.2 at 110.xx with a weak 1.8 60', so what that tells me is that you would have trapped 113 or so, but you were knocking up top and losing power. Be very careful running with a race gas tune...

With Warr here too. Race map must be used with race gas. Race map with 92 oct or a mix of something less than the race map oct. level used = knocking, pulled timing, and/or worse. But you car looks to be strong in the middle, just missing up top due to the gas issue. Go again, use the exact setup you are tuned for and you should be there. Play around with your 60' too, tire pressures...you should be able to lower it by a tenth or so.
Good luck, happy racing.

it was a very very mild tune !!! they tuned it so i can run race gas+more boost / or 92 with lower boost . when tuning the car one of the pulls i was making 328 TQ at 2800 rpm's they shut it down because he felt it was going to be unsafe. i trust the guy who tuned my car very very much and if he says i will be fine with less boost and 92 i know i will be. even ith 92 the car has like 12:1 afr's race gas has 11:1 afr's. anyways thats all in the past now . getting ems cams and a gt35. along with all the other needed things to make it all safe! looking to get around 500 whp and run a low 10

I hope it's the other way around.
Also, dropping/raising a full point is highly unlikely just by filling up with race gas. Unless you have a different map for it which I don't see you mentioning.

when we looked at the stock afr's it was all 11:1 but then with race gas it ran so rich there was no afr and that was with no tune at all. i made 244 whp before the tune and like i said 289 after . we could hav got a lot more out of it but we wanted it to be safe with pump and race gas for everyday driving.
