haha, trust me, the spring is definitely stiffer. I could feel it by just compressing the springs with my fingers. It wasn't as big of a difference like with their soft spring & the old stiff spring but you can still feel it. I had my MBC set to 26-27psi with their old stiff spring, I put the new stiff spring in and turned the boost down close to 3 full turns and figured that would be enough, wrong. I let off when I saw 33-34psi haha. I had to crank the knob almost all the way out to get back down to my 27psi. I am using the ceramic ball with the new stiff spring and it seems to taper maybe 2psi.

 

gotcha, didn't you mention in another thread that if you have the hallmann they would send you the spring no charge?

 

they sent me a spring no change. now i am just waiting for it

 

what did you do? call/email hallmann direct?

 

i called and i said yo. i am a bad motha f%^ka. they said o snap ok you need a stiff spring. its free. ill send it right away.

i called them up. explained my issue and they said they have a super stiff spring that most turbo diesel guys use for 40+psi. i said i will buy one. she said no worries just give me you address. and that was it.

Good thing you didnt come today. It was super HOTT on the track. My car was hitting 240 degrees by the traps.

 

i normally see 210 at the traps. 240. she is getting HOT. how did you do?
