Did you pick up the 245/45 17" DR's?

Or 26" QTP's?

Hoosier 245/45/17 for the bbs rims. This will be the "street" tire.

Then the qtp for the RX-7 rims. Drag use only

Koo!

Dan just be aware that on high-hp cars like yours it can still be a bit tricky with getting them to hook-up as we have had good success with them on slightly less hp Evos as have others and on the flip side there are some that have not had such luck

Wish you the best of luck with the and reaching your goal.........get out there and practice those launches

Most def. a better tire than the Nittos!

But it being a DR with a semi-stiff sidewall it still has it's "cons"

yea i agree. but i am one of few who actually truely DD there car so i do not think roling around on QTP's DD trim will be to wise. hahahaah. i mean id love to but my pocket cant afford it.

i am actually going to buy another set of BBS stock rims and put a really nice ''street'' type tire on it. i think i am crazy. 1 set of RX-7 rims for drag use only. 1 set of BBS rims for hoosier/STREET DR's and one more set of BBS rims for nice street tire's. i need a 3rd job.

the car is back together. just waiting on 1 or 2 small things and then it will be drivable.

i also got my Hoosier 245/45/17 drag radials today and will get them mounted on monday. lets hope round 2 is a little better then the 1st. even if its not a 9 sec pass i just want to have a clean day right now. one step at a time.

As fast as you went on the Nittos , the Hoosiers

Good luck Dan! I know you will get that 9 sec slip. Stay positive thats what i do and stuff seems to work out. I have the Nitto 555R Drag Radials on my CCW Classics for the street. I havent launched on them so i have no idea how they hook. Keep us updated if you go to the track this weekend GL!
