Ok guys i have turboxs dp,test pipe, hks ti muffler, safc and hks intake, . THe car has not been reflashed with those mods. I ran for the first time ever tonight and this is what i got. My car has 34,000 miles on it with stock clutch and snow tires right now so would that make a big difference and would a reflash help to. for my launch i slipped it at about 5000 which was fine except i think the clutch is whats hurtin me.I posted my times if anyone notices where i can improve that would help alot. thanks

I didnt red light. Im taking it to turbo trix on the 29th to get tuned and new clutch because i think the clutch was killing me wit my launch so my 60ft should be much better and they said i should have definetly had it reflashed and im puttin my fuel pump in. I launched at about 5000 but i cant really slip this clutch becuase there is nothing left.

Agreed with the above post, some timers consider a .000 a perfect reaction time while others start at .500, .499 would ofcourse be a red light. I would also agree on the 60' time, it's not all that great for the EVO but as the owner mentioned it does have 34,000 and I'm pretty sure it's due for a change, and don't forget the tune.

Why do you need a reflash if you have a Safc? Just get the Safc tuned.

Dude Mark will have you in the 12's pronto. He is an awesome tuner. Make sure you have an MBC. Let me also suggest a Walboro fuel pump. Safe insurance.\

ok guys well i got my new clutch act street clutch and tuned and dynoed at 295 awhp and 301 lbs of torque. I went to the track tonite and ran the worst times ever. Would snowtires make me loose alot of traction and time also the track was stupid the water from the wet box was runnin off so i had to drive through water every time cuz they wouldnt let me take the other lane my first run i got the good lane and ran a 13.60 which is bad but not as bad as a 14. so what do you guys think the tires and water definetly killed me cuz i got nasty wheel hop and the car banged into neutral everytime. or am i just a bad driver?

Sounds like you may be popping the clutch too hard..That clutch will engage alot quicker then the stock one..You really should not be spinning your tires much with 300whp..Keep going to the track and practice to get the feel of your car..Once you are comfortable with the way it reacts you will be in the 12's no prob..Snow tires should nat make much of a difference, they are very soft and actually grip really well even with the siping on the tires..Why not head out to Island dragway tommorow (friday) where you can get plenty of runs in at the test and tune street night..There will be a handfull of evos there..
