Non the less. I did rick a favor and flashed his car to make 60 more whp up top and he was happy. Whether or not you spent another 10hrs on the car to make 7whp is great, you removed the crank pulley and installed the factory one to remove any knock he had. I just hope you didnt pay dan too much for the dyno time
10hrs can really add up...
Happy tuning al

BTW - the normal Pruven reflash session on an Evo is $500.00 flat fee which includes ALL the dyno time - at least 2 hours and it can go as long as it takes to get it perfect
As far as what I paid Dan for the dyno time its really not revelvant - just understand that I go to any lengths needed to make my customers happy.
As far as what we spent the time on the dyno doing - really about 4 hours - we had to smooth out his idel, remove the misfire cel and take our time to verify that no damage was done under the dengerously lean conditions
I think the results speak for themselves - we made almost 30 ft lbs more trq and a lot better power band. Also the customer's satisfaction is where it is at and you can see his thoughts posted above.

Oh, I was wondering how the guy drove and did not blow up under boost with that A/F, Al recorded on Pruven's dyno.
Al did you forget to use the AFR module on the dyno at Pruven to make Turbotrix's A/F look dangerously lean.

All I would like to see is the whole story, the whole truth. That's it nothing more. I would like to see turbotrix's tune on Purven's dyno with the A/F working right. If you noticed in the dyno sheet it was very lean and makes a vendor look bad and not able to tune correctly and letting customers drive off with a ticking time bomb.
So if you would like to PM and tell me what I'm doing wrong I would be more then open for that.
Eric
I just wanted to add that I went up to Pruven a few months back. I met Al who was very cool and all about the customer. He tuned my friends Evo and what a difference! He spent hours on hours doing a bunch of Evo's all giving each car the time and devotion to make the owner happy. After each tune he did, he took the customer for a ride to show them the difference. When you see a customer come back from the ride with the biggest smile and satisfaction look on their face, he did something right. Not only that but he provided free pizza and drinks for everyone out of his own pocket. There was not one unsatisfied person there that day. He is a dedicated worker and will do anything to do his best. Who cares if it takes him an hour or 12, it's all worth it in the end. He deserves the respect and praise he gets.
Al - I still want a ride in you're Evo cause the people who got a ride that day looked like they had **** in their pants. All I heard was "He drives that thing like he's been driving an Evo his whole life".

We tried to post up our comparison dyno sheet from al's 266 which was how the car was originally tuned. But that thread gets deleted by Evo M. I honestly dont know why al is making such a big deal about this situation. Ricks car was the 3rd car i've flashed and we made over 60whp( up top ) . The customer was happy and left after an hr. Al has to get the car back to make more power then me ..blablabla. I didnt know this was a pissing contest. After changing pulleys and 10 hrs later al is happy. Thats fantastic. Al called our shop yesterday and promised no more bullsh*t online. Maybe it was the other al who knows. But the one posting and posting about this topic wasnt the guy who called the shop yesterday. Now he's taking bits and pieces of this thread and copy and pasting to *************** making him seem like a hero. Im done posting on this topic, al can say whatever he wants. He is the GOD of tuning evo's. Its just funny how al's comparison thread has made it this far when ours got deleted. Good luck to BIG al in his quest to bash everyone on the internet....
