Are there any surge tanks that use the Walbro 450? There are a bunch that use 044 type of pumps but I'd like to keep it simpler. I'm going to be using the setup in a 280z. Ideally I'd like to just feed the surge tank with a new external pump so I can keep the stock tank in place. And yes, the stock tank has already been taken apart and treated to use E85.

Sorry I don't have any advice for a surge tank, but I'm curious about what did you do to treat the tank for E85. There are no E85 corrosion problems with the Evo, so I'm a bit interested to hear what you did to your tank.

The fuel tank on my Z was full of sludge from sitting for years, and the tank had begun rusting on the inside. I had to split the tank in half, sand blast it then re-treat the metal which was basically just a type of epoxy applied to the inside and outside.

Ah, so it wasn't corrosion due to E85.
