Best pump to use for E85

I'm between the Walbro E85 pump and AEM E85 pump. I've tried searching to see what the general feelings are between the two, and which is better for the 400-500whp range. Curious to see what people's preferences are. Thanks in advance.

in my experience, all the 3xx lph pumps are only good to about 480 whp on an otherwise stock fuel supply system. go with w450 if wanting more power than that.

Walbro 450 is treating me right so far. Install is pretty straight forward with a dremel...

Did you hardwire it and if so did you also install an aftermarket FPR?

I think it really depends on the horse power of the car and the size of the injectors. e85 burns 3xfaster then regular gas so the pump is gonna work that much harder. thats why high horsepower cars have 2 pumps, were on a stock build with bolt ons you can get away with a walbro 255 or the next size up.

I ended up ordering the Walbro. I'll be running a CBRD BBK Full, so the single pump should be fine. I'm not expecting more than 500whp with E85.

I'm making 450/400 with a 71HTA @ 30psi on E85 using a unmodified walbro 255 and it's pretty much maxed out. I'm sure I could squeeze a little more out of it if I do the pressure relief mod.

Talking to me? No, no, and no.

I wired in the STM rewire kit so that it gets triggered by, and supplements the OEM high voltage relay. By drilling the siphon to 9/64, I have had no issues with over run, on gas and ethanol.

You can always go a little bigger to play it safe, rather do it once and do it right then do it again later. Id put a 450 wally in. Better safe then sorry.
