I had a similar problem. All you have to do is go under "Options" and then select "Port" and make sure that the 1.3 Cable is selected. To do that, you must have the cable plugged in. Hope that helps.

 

Yeah, I found that out the hard way - 4-5 hours of headache - the driver is the wire - DUH! It's the obvious stuff I end up overlooking.

Well, I'm happy, allthough it took me 2 days to lowere my rev limiter from 7800 to 7600 lol

I got cable few days ago and tried flash Evo9 by EcuFlash program.
the cable work fine I can read and write ROM but couldn't view any map
just seen only Rev Limit and Speed Limit cause no the definition xml file for my ROM image version ( JDM 89280002 )

where can i find the bin file for a stock 03 evo?

also, i have a custom flash from turbo trix. i'm not sure what software they use to do the flash. would i be able to read the turbo trix bin file with ecuflash?

Depends on what they used, if it was ecutek, not at the moment.

 

By the way, if nobody mentioned this before, we got 2 stock evo 9 map out and there is a VVT controller for the Mivec with the new software, which was very cool to see.

Evo 8 stock map and evo 9 stock map is infinitely different, even the setups, which was cool too.
