You motor isn't going to go bang any faster than it will with you tinkering on other parts of the tune. I know many people running max boost the stocker can make which varies from day to day depending on the weather. When doing the standing mile we need much longer than a second.

Like I said get an EBC and have the safety and control.

The stock turbo will not make 319 load, thats is about 31 psi. I think you miss understand my question. So let me put it another way. Why remove the safety of the boost cut all together? What is the point? By the time you get to 319 load (if you ever do) the knock will be off the scale and the boost cut can only be an additional safety measure.

You are right it will never hit 319. If you set it to 319 you are doing the same thing as running up the delay.

Maybe if you aren't monitoring your car and you run low boost you might want boost cut feature. I am running the car as hot as possible 24/7 with alchy. I dont want the car completely cutting out ever.

When I open ECUFlash I get this in the task info box:

"[01:11:59.688] error loading FTChipID.DLL"

I'm not sure what to do from here.

you need to copy the immobilizer code from your stock ecu

open ecuflash then options , user level change it to developer or advanced then close the program , open it again and then u can see the immobilizer code ( go to parameters, misc)

if u dont do this the car wont start because u dont have this code

hope this help u!

How do you know it didn't work? By the way people that use this feature usually set the stationary rpm to 6000.

Locate the FTChipID.dll from your C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\drivers\x86 and copy it to C:\Windows\system32
