Ok, so I tried to download Version 2.0, but I dont see where I can change the address to say v2.0.zip

I am going to try to resolder the cable end tonight if I have time to.

If I buy the male rs-232 plug i solder the blue wire ( to pin # 2 ) and the black ground wire ( to pin # 5 ) to it....

and leave the white and red alone?

then just plug it in to a RS-232 to USB converter cable and I should be able to log with EVOscan ver.99 right?

Somebody said this a while ago but if anyone is willing to make one for me I'd be more than willing to pay for the materials and the labor to make this, any takers?

I think that depends if it is a male or female plug. I never really thought of it that way, as the blank connectors are numbered.

I think its the front of the male, or rear of the female.
