How much interest would there be if I prefabbed some of the serial connectors with blue wire(3 ft) and black wire (3 ft + t-lug for ground) with instructions for the AEM wideband? PM me if you are interested

Made 3 today here is a pic of the finished product. All you have to do is connect the blue wire to the blue wire coming off the AEM UEGO and ground the black wire... PM me up if you guys need one...

This is confusing. I found a link to a 15 pin serial, but it has 3 ground pins. Which one do I solder too? There is the 1+8+15 pin for ground (Black) and the 13 pin to recieve data (blue). I try logging it with all the ground pins connected and I get the AFR column, but no AFR data?

I'll keep reading around.

What connector are you guys using? A link would be helpful. I looked at Radioshack and didn't find anything useful. I found a scanner cable that I bought but it only has two wires in it and I haven't tested to make sure that they go to the right pins.

I thought someone had posted it. Try this

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102498

Otherwise if you want to buy a full cable...

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3109713
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2049676

I use the first one and leave it under my ashtray, when I need to have the cabl in I pull the ashtray and plug in one like the second one posted (but from monoprice.com).

They are usually in a small slide-out drawer "bin" near the resistors/LED's/Circuitry stuff.

Go to your IT guys at work or look around at home for an old serial mouse and cut the cable off of it.

I purchased this cable

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3109713

and it was perfect. The pins are labeled on the end for easy continuity checking (keep in mind the AEM instructions show an incorrect picture) and the wires inside it happened to be the same colors as the AEM instructions suggested. I wired it up in just a few minutes and it worked great.

FYI your link is corrupted, you posted the truncated version with the ... in it. It should be http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3109713

What diagram was wrong on the AEM? I believe I used their picture to create my cable and it was fine.... maybe you were looking at it backwards?
