Everything looks dandy as far as I can tell, if your A/F is in check raise your boost a pound or two.

You seem to have a very conservative tune. My timing peaks 19* up top and only knocks occasionally, even when it does its only a KS of 1

no i do not have a A/F gauge

i was comparing my modified map to my stocker and much to my surprise there is pulled timing in the mid range, as well as fuel added in the same area. (e-mail style flash)

Anyone else find this to be a good choice as far as making power?

Or did the tuner add this as a safety net?

Id post the map but it is vender purchased

another point of interest is that the map was supposedly tuned for Hard pipes, intercooler, and TBE but they where not on the car during the log (inspection time)

I've just started tuning my stock 05 this past week and in the midrange (3500-4000 rpms) where you're at peak torque, the stock tune runs too much timing and could use more fuel.

I was knocking like a **** on this cali crap 91 gas from 3500-4000 so I had to pull quite a bit of timing there. I've only been messing with the timing map and I'm down to ~0 degrees of timing now hitting 250 load at peak torque and I actually still got 3 counts of knock. So I just added some fuel there (it was already in the 11.0-11.5 A/F range based on a dyno with wideband) and I'll see how that works out.

I looked @ your 3rd gear pull and it looks fine. The problem is it started @ 3400 rpm and ended @ 6800 rpm. Also, your TPS was not 100% all the way through. @ 6500 rpm your TPS dropped below 100.

Please do a log from 2500-7500 rpm and post the results. That will be more accurate and it will load the car better for turbo spool up.

Also please log more parameters, like Inj pulse and LoadCalc.

Based on the log you gave us, your car is putting the following hp/tq according to DLL. I have used the temps and baro press from your neck of the woods. I assumed a full tank of gas and a driver weight of 175 lbs.

I know I sound like a broken record, but start mixing 100 and 91 to get 93-94 octane. Once you try 93-94, you will never go back to 91 octane gas.

I have had my car on a steady 93-94 octan diet since June of 06 and the car feels sooooooooooooooooo much better.

Here is a list of stations in Socal with 100 octane.

I hope you find one next to you.

thanks for the graph and the suggestions

Ill update this thread with a new pull when i get a chance...

So those other two parameters should be enough, if not, what else should be checked.

I use to always have 93 in Texas and Florida I just don't like the thought of tuning for something that's not readily available, road trip, etc.
