Wrong ROM ID Dan thats for a IX. You can just write in the code for the whole MUT table and not have to worry about the propietary BS.

Well I have no clue what happened. I have never had this problem but I think I fixed it. I first tried reinstalling ecuflash again because I thought maybe the drivers for the tatrix did not get installed. And of course I lost all the v5 patch mods and other stuff I had. And it still did not connect to the car. So I simply just restored the computer to a earlyer date and not I have my 1.29 back and it is connecting to the car no problem. I'm now going to redo all the tephra stuff. Sigh.... thanks to thoughs who's helped me out.

O yea. I forgot to tel you guys. To whome wants to know at least.......

Since my stock o2 sensor was shot I cut the plug off it. And I soldered the resister into the 2 black wires of the plug and then just simply pluged it into the factory plug in the car. But I let the resister stick outside the hole so I don't burn her to the ground because I here this little guy gets hot. Lets hope this trick works.

yeah should be good

I just run my stock rear 02 sensor, as I cant be bothered worrying about the resistor ...

Just wanted to share my experience with this mod so that maybe it will eliminate some confusion about the different resistors.

The 10k ohm resistor does work when you disable the rear O2 routine in your rom using step 2 in the beginning of this thread.

The 10k ohm resistor will not work if you try to use it with one of Tephra's mod patches.

You must use a resistor with a resistance between 1.1 and 80 ohms to have a proper load for the heater circuit when using either step 2 in the beginning of this thread or when using one of Tephra's mod patches.

You could use a 50 ohm 10W, a 75 ohm 5W, or even better a 75 ohm 10W. I found a hollow 75 ohm 10W resistor on ebay which has been working great for a few weeks now and does not get hot at all.

But I was pretty sure that Tephra borrowed the same routine that MrFed created? Tephra has the rear O2 delete in his patches.

My 75 ohm 5W still trips the CEL at start-up because I think it takes too long to heat up. Evoscan shows the Heater Circuit at 20% when the CEL comes on.. once the car is warmed up and the resistor is piping hot, I can clear the code and it won't come back ever again until everything cools back off. It can be quite frustrating though.

A resistor doesn't change value enough from cold to hot to have any effect. I have been using a 75 ohm 10 watt resistor for quite some time now, no issues. Get a better resistor or check your connections. What is the tolerance on your 75 ohm resistor? It has to be 5% or 1% to stay within the acceptable range that the ECU requires.
