10kohm/.25 amp resistor is a fake. . Other solution using resistors??

apparently 2x 100Ohm/10W in parralel should work (for a combined resistance of 50ohm)

Get two 100 ohm 10 watt resistors from radioshack and twist the ends together so they are in parallel with each other(this makes them into a 50 ohm 10 watt resistor basically). Connect them between the heater wires. Be warned, they do get awfully hot.

P0125 is (i think) incorrect, some ROMID's have P134 (i think) which is something like "rear 02 no activity" which makes MORE sense than P125.

your best bet would be not to disable the rear02 using the FAA bit, but use the rear02 simulator instead

10K .25W seems to work for me?

edit:or not. going to try the 50 Ohm 10W

i did what jack of trades said 2 100ohm/10w resistors in parallel. it seem to be working fine so far and the heat is very minimal.

update: well im in a long drive right now and it seemed to work the first 2 hrs but when i stopped in a rest area and then started driving again i got the cel. used scan tech and got 2 code: P0133: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response & P0136: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit

cleared the code. i guess i could try a different resistor. any ideas?

are u referring to mfred's ecu changes? i have done all of that. i was thinking maybe a 50 ohm is too much resistance for the ecu. ill try a different resistor.

I suggest running two 50ohm, 10 watt resistors from RadioShack in parallel to create a 25ohm resistor. The current is split between the two resistors to minimize how hot they'll get. Each resistor will have around 4 watts of power being dissipated through it, less than half of its maximum rating.
