Well, in the meantime I am running the v5 patch from Tephra, what resistor do I need?

I am confused from the first post it seems like it is working for him but others in the post have said it gets too hot....etc...so whats the right resistor? Has anyone had any luck with their testing?

If you've got a current meter, the ECU looks for a current between 0.17 A and 10.5 A across the heater when the heater circuit is engaged, and then it looks for a voltage of > 2.0 V across the heater when the circuit is not engaged. The current seems easy enough to measure. Not sure where the ECU is measuring the voltage (wouldn't seem to be across the O2 sensor), so not sure how to measure that.

That's the plug under the passenger seat (and under the carpet, if memory serves) that connects to the rear O2 sensor under the car.

its not really under the p-seat, more like under the dash where the feet go.

just pull the carpet back on the side that the gear stick goes you should see it!

"I have a software fix for the Rear O2 CEL for the Evo IX 88590015 ROM" that leaves the O2 sensor in place and does not throw a CEL?

Still no fix that completely eliminates the rear O2 sensor on the evo 9 with out a CEL?

its very prehistoric, but you can kill the cell with a antiflouler extention that the o2 sensor bolts into. I know it works, even catless.
