I think the Valet mode is while the key is on ACC but the car is not on, otherwise, it'd just start 2-stepping.
actualy the only time my car 2 steps is when the clutch is pushed in, otherwise it goes to redline...

No I mean if I'm going down the front straight at Road America (long) and have the valet timer set for like 5 seconds. I want to confirm that the valet mode only switches back and forth when the ignition is at the "ON" position but the car isn't actually RUNNING. Hope that clarifies.

Some of the ECUs do it different. I have the 94170008 ECU on my 03, even though it's an 04 ECU, and my car does 2-step both in neutral and in gear. I did a 2step for a friend who has an 06 MR SE, and the 2-step only works with the car in gear, with it in neutral it does go to redline. Forgot about that.

Valet mode will not change in any way while the vehicle is running. Or at least it doesn't do it on mine.

Will the CEL still flash during knock if the CEL is already on for a code? P0300, etc.

66 pages was too much to read.

check your clutch switch is still in place and connected,
check your rom makes sure ya didnt somehow disable it in the software,
and finally try and reflash your rom see if any of those solutions work??

NLTS wont work for me either. I just tried it today and as soon as I pushed the clutch in to switch gears (gas pedal was floored) the rpm's just revved to 7500

This is the 2nd time that I've tried it and both occasions it didn't work. is the clutch switch right behind the clutch pedal?

Do i have to be over the NLTS RPM drop point (6000) for the NLTS to work?

Question:

I have the 88590015 EvoIX NLTS rom installed. I have it on the default settings (1500 RPM drop) except that the TPS activation is at 90%.

I've noticed that when I complete my shift (foot totally off the clutch pedal) before the full 1500RPM drop the RPM drop is enforced anyway before it starts climbing again. Is this the way it's supposed to work? Should I set the RPM drop to 1000 or something so that that it's waiting on me to complete the shift?
