JB - yes 1500 for 5spd post fixed

AlwaysinBoost - send me the stock ROM

Dudical - Problem with the bottom switch is you may never hit it... especially if you are shifting quick... I think the solution is the extent the top clutch switch... I am going to take a proper look @ it this weekend

Tephra- Is it possible to use the bottom clutch switch as the trigger? Maybe just to try it at least.
The bottom switch is possible, but just not feasible. If you used anything but the top switch, your RPMs would rise the moment the clutch disengaged and you wouldn't get the benefit of NLTS.

The DSMLink guys went through this years ago and we are having some of the same conversations and comments that I remember way back then.

Just trust me on this one...you most likely had your foot resting on the pedal right after the shift. It's just a habit that has to be broken to use NLTS.

On a side note, this is the same thing that Tephra was complaining about and wanted to lengthen the top switch in some way, so that is won't trigger immediately upon touching the pedal. If anything, a solution similar to this is really the only feasible approach. But, just take a couple minutes to learn to move your left foot back a little more after the shift and I think you'll be fine.

I was specifically aware of not resting my foot on the pedal due to Tephra's complaints so I made sure to move my foot totally off the pedal. I was wearing sandals at the time so maybe the bottom part of the sandal slapped against my foot and hit the pedal??

So the magic question is do I paypal directly to http://www.globalshare.net/, or is there a way to make sure tephra gets it directly. The link at the bottom does not work from my computer and when dealing with money I want to make sure it is directed to the proper person. By the way the NLTS and Valet are working great, not sure about the CEL yet, I copied lots of stuff over from my IX-13 series rom. NLTS feels great, I set tps @95% and left all other the same.

looks very interesting, one question for those who have the nlts working;
can you rev match when downshifting or are your revs locked ?

hey guys - I need 3 STOCK copies of 94170008 and 96940011 - from different people.

It's hard to tell whats stock and whats not, and I think this could be causing the non-starting problems. People may have sent me NON-stock ROMS (probably by accident) so I need to get 3 and the common 2 win

tephra at gmail dot com thx

Sure, as long as when you rev match you don't cross your NLTS thresholds.

I must be dumb... do I add in this additional xml info in the end of the xml file in the ecuflash directory.. before the final line </rom> ?

I've tried to add it before, after, at the beginning.. I still don't get any of the new menus.
