How To Tune an Evo
Get the LC1 with the XD16. These two will give you what you want.
There is no pre-tapped screw. You take your car to the muffler shop and the muffler shop will weld a bung on the downpipe. The shop will provide the bung and the plug. Make sure that they weld it in the proper position, ie, end of the dp two inches from falange, three o'clock position, passanger side.
Take your time and rear read read before you flash your ECU. Looks like that is what you are doing.

So is this good? If this is it, then why $400? I thought you said that you can get everything you need for about 200. Am I mistaken? or am I just looking at a very expensive version? What do you guys have? How much are you guys paying?
ebay item

). And do you have any links to pictures of someone that successfully installed the sensor into the down pipe
This would be great for this forum.
will I be able to log air/fuel with the LC1? I am planning on getting an A/F guage anyway, should I might as well get the kit that is above?

order the kit from yoparts.com.... its cheaper
but yes with that setup you can log afr's
i suggest the lc-1 and xd-16 gauge combo.... reason being the calibrate button is built in on the xd-16 and you can record a run on the gauge as well.

you will not find a cheaper price than yoparts.com on this item... trust me. If you do, its because somebody is making absolutely no money on it just to beat their price. Send a PM to Tom at yoparts, tell him i sent you his way and he will give you a great price.
What i was referring to is the LC-1 comes with a cable for datalogging that you can plug straight into your laptop. Unfortunately the cable is a serial interface. Most newer laptops do not have this since USB took over.... so you will need to buy a serial to usb adapter. they are about 20 to 30 bucks.... Then plug it in, hit up evoscan and you are pretty much ready to log a/f's....
NJ1266 paid 200 for the LC-1 or so..... i bet you will get that and the gauge for about 270 which is unheard of lol

I use an LM1 with two xd16. I bought the LM1 a long time ago. Back then there was no LC1. The LM1 (with LMA2 and other minor accessories) and two xd16 cost me around $750. Worth every penny that I paid. I have had zero problems with them.
