thats the joys of adjusting voltages lol

id start with small increments... .050 for the ones that are way out... id add that to the voltages starting around 11 i think it is all the way to the end. Then reset your battery and let her idle

you also may want to play with the scaling a little bit. Maybe try 650 or something closer to 600 and see how that effects things

Flip your low and high values ... some versions of EvoScan have them swapped.

62 is actually your low trim value.

Ok so put the voltages back to stock then do increments like you say correct?

Thanks alot man this has been driving me nuts

I take it I just have to look at them that way because evoscan has em goofy

I tried the mitsulogger today and viewed the logs in the data log lab, kinda nice

ok so if the values are flipped with evoscan. I messed with under 11 just barely and got as follows.

fuel low 80.469%
fuel mid 54.688%
fuel high 100%

The idle seems better so I will continue to tinker with it

where I'm at now put injector scaling to 670

4.6875
7.03125
9.375
11.7188
14.0625
16.4062
18.6768

6.12
4.128
3
1.32
0.888
0.672
0.408

I'm getting closer right and should the first # really be that high?? Also I have 272's btw

Roger that Stock is 3.312 ...I've got it at 4.104 now should I lower it down somewhere in between?

Again thanks for the help

im using evoscan 0.99 btw so I hope that means they flip the values

edit: I've got the fuel trims all at 100 now ..well in evoscan and mistulogger

settings:

scaling at 650
3.912
3.192
2.592
1.32
0.888
0.672
0.408

I'm sure I'll still have to play with things but im getting there the idle isn't all super rough

Please keep working on that as I have the same injectors as you and would like a benchmark to start with.

My car is all over the dang place and I would like to start all over and see if I can't tune this thing myself...

Cheers-
Erich

good work man... im glad i could help you a little bit. Once you nail the idle trims down, now you get to go cruising and get those together. im not sure why, but everyone seems to have problems with the 780's. maybe its because they arent too common it seems... everyone seems to jump to 880's just in case they go bigger than they are.

make sure you post your final numbers in the scaling thread that you were asking about these in

I hear ya thats how my car was to start with and its getting better. I'm just going to continue to try bumping it up and down just little by little. When I'm done I'll get some numbers for you to start with

I've got denso 720cc injectors and I've got scaling at 622 now with voltage close to my last post, like you say its nailing the idle trim down and go cruising to make sure thats in check too. So lets say in evoscan where do I want all my trim levels at 100% idle and when I go for a cruise %100 there too? I had it alittle over then at 100% then a little under lol pain in the *** and I'm seeing some knock but its only a few counts so I'll sort that out after the injectors.

It's hard to remember what my idle was like with the cams because its always been lop lop lop. Ilde bounces between 700's to 800's I just don't like it when it dips down below that and sounds like its going to choke.
Right now I think I've got it 100 all trims idling and just barely under 100 when cruising I'll check these numbers around lunch...sorry its early and I haven't had a coffee yet

just raise your idle a bit to help with the dying down stuff as well as raise the timing up a bit in the idle cells depending on what it is at.

but yes, you should be at 100 for cruise as well

Try your injectors at 619 and see what you get... Thats where my car was with the RRE tune from the previous owner and tuner. I think you're headed to the 6(teens) area pretty soon...

Thanks so much for wanting to help me by giving me a benchmark area to start with. It's guys like that that make this forum worthwhile.

Cheers-
Erich

Edit: I meant 609 but you got it spot on at 622...

Here we go guys 100% low, mid.high idle and cruise

scaled at 622

3.864
3.456
2.856
1.32
0.888
0.672
0.408

Now should I bump up timing a pinch at idle to keep any lil dip away? I've got the desired idle at 1000
