With how aggresive my race tune is it took me quite a bit to get it not to knock on shifts and thats when the car really got fast instead of just having nice numbers and no results...
I'm currently getting a nice spike of knock between shifts on my 91 oct map. I was wondering what you did to resolve this situation.

Like a bat outa hell! No knock what so ever. When I started this timing map, I would only get 1 count, at most 2 counts at the highest load at around 4kish. I was trying to run 7-8 at high load but it didn't work. Hence the lower timing in those areas. It's pretty cool to look at the log and see 7100 rpm with 19 degrees of timing at 24 psi with no knock. Gotta love the E85.

I have my boost set to 26 and tapers to 23-24. I was running higher boost (29), and it yielded fantastic torque results, but it seemed that it was killing the efficiency or over heating the turbo. It would die off pretty quick- say about 5k hp/tq would just fall off. With this timing map, new mivec map, and lower boost, she's strong all the way from 3500 to 7k. It may not be the most powerful as far as numbers go, but definitely a better power band.

Yeah, My torque is killer with my spike. Reason I asked was because I am spiking 19 and falling to 15 at redline. I think my WGA took a crap on me. I want to try out the new WGA and see what happens and then make a decision then to keep it as it is or back off the boost.

I have my wastegate adjusted as far as it will go. That was the only way I could get it to hold, along with "crushing" my BOV.

E85 rocks, lucky bastards. Your tune looks just like mine with 93 pump gas and 50/50 water/meth injection. Can't wait to get E85 around here.....someday.

It seems as if people that are running meth are able to start ramping up the timing a little earlier but still end up with relatively close timing figures up top compared to E85 folks.

I'm assuming you have stock springs/retainers with those M2's right?

Stock long block, except for the cams. I make a point of not carrying the revs past 7200 due to the stock valvetrain and block. Stock clutch, trans, etc. I'm a baller on a budget. LOL. Went to the drag strip this past Sunday and ran an 11.8 with this current setup. I'll take that- not that drag racing is my thing, but I was curious.
