Immoiliser disable with openport 1.3

Hello!
I hope that i'm posting it in the right forum.
I have installed evo7 engine in a mitsubishi colt , and i use the stock ecu of this engine (MR560648). The engine dont start and as i belive the problem is the original immobiliser . I want to disable the immobiliser and i have seen that i need Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 for connecting to the ecu .I want to build myself the cable and the only schema that i found is for openport 1.3.
Can i use the OpenPort 1.3 for connecting to the ecu and disable the immobiliser?

Thanks!

+1 for me. I would like to use 96530006 for my 96940011 tephra patch and I need to know how to disable the immobilizer as well. Ofcourse I would rather keep it but just incase.

I'm not sure about the evo7 ecu for the original poster but in response to the second poster your can add this to the roms metadata.

<table name="(periphery 0)" category="Misc" address="faa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>

Then you need to change the value of Periphery 0 in ecuflash to 0x56D2. Hopefully this works in an evo7 rom as well, but I am sure that it works in all 8/9 roms.

This will completely disable the immobilizer and there are some other values besides 56D2 which can disable certain o2 sensor functionality.

56D0 -No rear O2 no Immobilizer
5650-no rear O2, No immobilizer, No knock
5658-no rear O2, No knock sensor
56D8-no rear O2
5698, no front or rear 02
5690, no front 02, rear 02, or immobilizer
56D2, No immobilizer

just before </rom>. The placement isn't important as long as it isn't in the middle of something else.
