<data name="1" value="01"/>

added that and it displays just fine

wasn't able to get scantech to work with my 1.3u and 2.0 openport cables though so i still don't know what the stock obdII tests are; have to get my car smogged in ca soon
That worked great, thanks for your help. I’m always in these threads but don’t have much to give back otherwise I would post a lot more. I am happy to help the community that has helped me so much. And keep up the good work to all those involved

Hey everyone, friend of mine asked me to help him with this because of well.... emissions.

I'm curious, does he need it? He does not have a CEL, because he is using the spark plug fouler. So the o2 sensor is still plugged in.

Should he be able to pass emissions without this patch?

if there are no codes and the actual afr is correct it should be fine.

Some states don't even do afr checks if there are no codes but I wouldn't know about that in your state.

I can tell you I passed with an anti flower on my car several years ago. this last year I had the "pass code" and again it passed, but that's here.

Here in Illinois, there's no AFR check, just a "gas cap test" (ie. "does it seal?") and codes pulled.

Ok, my turn.

Question:
My car is throwing P0420 - catalytic converter efficiency below threshold
Ohio...
If I do this, will it still throw that code?
If I do this, do I still have to wait for that "readiness" period to expire (50 miles or whatever)?

Because if it still throws that code they wont even hook it up with a CEL active.
If there is a way to just disable the P0420 code like you can on subarus please let me know.

Thanks.
