I need some help...

I am on v7 90550701 and i cant go above 775 cc/min injector scaling. I went and compared the definition against v5 90550001 to see if the addresses were correct and they were. Then i tried to see what the limit was on the v5 rom and it is 770.

Am i doing something wrong or is that the limit of the 9055 roms?

Thanks, Acea.

right click on the injector and edit the map, go to the scaling tab and check the injector scaling value maximum, its probably set low, set it higher and save

Andy, the max was at 1600 so i set it to 2000. Nothing changed. Except the 775 background went from yellow to blue. I still couldn't raise it.

Burgers, i was using that file already but i downloaded it again just incase i had stuffed it. Still the same, no change.

Thanks for your help but do you have any more ideas? I loaded the original ROM from my ecu with its xml and i can't go above 770 on that either.

can you make sure the scaling in your evo7base.xml file is the same as this
Code:
<scaling name="InjectorScaling" units="cc/min" toexpr="29241/x" frexpr="29241/x" format="%.0f" min="1" max="1000" inc="10" storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>
it might be the uint16 is wrong as I can enter over 1000 in my 90550 roms

I don't see where evo7base is included in the 90550701 xml but i checked it any way, on all the xmls that i have for the 9055 roms they were all correct. I then forced 90550701 ROM to use evo7base with another 9055 def xml. I still have the problem. Everything looks fine... Is it re-install and start again time?

Thanks,
Acea

ah your using the posted xml in that case the injector scaling is using the +10% value (i'm not entirely sure where that comes from) so right click the Injector scaling and edit, when you see the scalings select the injector size that doesn't have the +10% and then try again

Andy,

I realised that there were both sets of injector scalings when you first got me to go in and raise the max limit. I could see that it was using the plus 10% one so that was the one i changed first. It didn't work then i changed it use you were talking about, Its max was 1000 i think from memory and i changed it to 2000 after selecting it in the drop down etc. I could see that it was using the one that you are referring to as the 'CC/min' above 775 changed to 'cc/min' and that value then became 770 and i couldnt raise the value beyond that. If i paste any value i want in there it seems to go in but i can't lower or raise it.

Do you want me to zip up my rom and xml and send it to you so you can tell me it works fine?

Thanks for the help mate,
Acea

is it just the increment / dec that you want to use to go higher? if so increase the step size for the scaling, can you type = and put the values you actually want in there?

Fixed!!!

I just double checked that i was still having the problem before i sent Andy the rom. I tried to do the old ctrl+] to make the value increase and it didn't work, so i thought one last try and to do something different I entered the value from the edit drop down as Andy suggested and it went to 1000cc as hoped and from that moment on i could use the keyboard to increment and decrement the value.

How strange... Seems fixed to me.

Thanks all for your help i appreciate it.

I might be a bit off here but I don't think so... You need that file as a base for the tephra v7 xml right? It is what you need. I think you confused the situation when you posted "is it comparable" vs is it compatible in that thread I sent you the link to... Do you see what I mean?

I just went and re-read your posts. Do you want the 8857008 xml or Rom?
If you want the Rom I can't see why seeing as you have 80920002 tephra v7, right?
