Was tuned by a shop using ecuflash and tephramod, was just wanting to go into the tune and turn off the egr, i should get the Option 3 download link to have all the features, pull my map from the ecu, change the number to 0 to disable the egr and reflash the ecu. Is that correct?

 

Just pull the rom currently on the car and change it in there. Don't start from a blank rom.

 

Ditto that. And option 3 is SD. Are you even running SD? You can't just flash your ecu to SD and expect it to run lol

 

I gotcha, I was thinking that the options were templates to have the option to run thar, not maps. I've pulled the rom but it didn't come up in the tephramod format, although I'm dual map tuned using the intercooler sprayer button.

 

Just wanted to say thanks to all those involved in this map and making SD possible. Getting it dialed in and the car runs great.

It was the same with my 509whp wrx wagon.. SD on factory ECU was such a massive step in the right direction. Those that make things like this possible are very talented and I'm thankful to be able to tap into these resources for free.

Maybe this has been covered and I wasn't able to find it- Thermo fan control. I'm running a 9653 Rom on speed density and my rom doesn't show the thermo control tables. Looking in the definition it isn't even in my tephra base definition (96530706). I added the code to my base definition and now am able to view/edit the thermo tables, but I just want to confirm that was the correct way to go about adding them, before I start making adjustments? I've read elsewhere on the forum that people had the tables in their tephra roms from the start, so I'm not sure why mine were there.

what does the P0830 Clutch Pedal Circuit do? and if it is set to 0 it should be disabled right now correct or by default? if i set it to 1 should that let me start the car without pressing in the clutch or with a remote start???

Just pull the wire off the switch. You can start it without pushing the clutch in.

 

i have tried searching as much as I could and have an expert here on the forums help me too.

The car is currently tuned with MAF and is using ROM ID 88580714 and the car runs great. But we want to go SD.

We tried 3d SD using 88586714 - Dint work. Car doesn't even start.
We tried SD using 88591715 - Same - Didnt work - Car doesn't start.

Is there a solution to this?

If not, can i just wire up the AIT and swap ecu with a USDM ecu and call it a day?
