Hi Guys,
im planning to switch my Evo 5 ecu with Ceddy features to a Evo 7 or 8 ecu with Tephra features.

Can someone kindly advise me which Ecu (7 or 8) should i go for and which Tephra version is the latest for the both Ecu's?

Lastly, is this an Evo 8 USDM ecu and can it be flash?

First off I have seen a few posts/threads with information on this but for some reason what is mentioned in those doesn't help me with my issue.

I have been trying to get rid of P0141 - rear o2 heater circuit dtc ,
Originally the ECU ID was 88840016 so I used 88580714 tephramod v7 map
These are the steps I took
1. Turned on Tephramod "rear o2 simulator"
2. cleared DTC's - on second startup p0141 came again
3. Turned off FAA bit 2 - cleared DTC's - after 15-20 min of running ECU threw p0125
4. Turned on FAA bit 2 - cleared DTC's - p0125 was not seen but on second startup p0141 cam on again

Am I missing something or shoud it be enought to turn on Tephramod - rear o2 simulator to get rid of p0141 ?
Or should I just mechanically bluff the heater circuit with resistors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Preferred year 2005 onward Ecu and willing to freight to Malaysia.

What do you mean by translating to metric system?

 

Mph to Kmh and Farenheit to Celcius.

 

I've never tried it, but you should be able to edit/create new scalings and just adapt the imperial formulas to get the metric reading instead.

Hi, can anyone here advise the pinout for Jdm Evo 8 Ecu to Evo 6? Is it same as Usdm pinout?

On the SD rom which wires should i tap for the Map & IAT sensor as im currently running on Ceddy with SD feature.

Lastly how to deactivate the Immobilizer on the 8 ecu?
