Well I just tried switching to the 9417 v7 rom and it fired up for about 5 seconds, then died. Now it won't start again. It tries to but won't.

Insert the patch into the 96530706 XML at the bottom before </rom> and it should work. Change all 3 patches to 0009 and change the minimum IPW to 1.088 (seems to work pretty well for me but i may be wrong).

I had to put the patch in the base 95630006 rom and in the v7 95630706 rom for it to read. It worked. Now im still having problems with start up and idling.

Thumbs up

88570008:

Code:
	<table name="Minimum IPW #1 SHLL8->NOP (0x4908 -> 0x0009)" category="Misc" address="26d92" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
	<table name="Minimum IPW #2 SHLR2->NOP (0x4908 -> 0x0009)" category="Misc" address="26d94" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>
	<table name="Minimum IPW #3 SHLL->NOP (0x4900 -> 0x0009)" category="Misc" address="26d96" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>

        <scaling name="IPW16:SHLL0" units="ms" toexpr="x*8/1000" frexpr="x*1000/8" format="%.3f" min="0" max="65" inc="0.008" storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>

	<table name="Minimum IPW SHLL0" category="Misc" address="1102" type="1D" scaling="IPW16:SHLL0"/>

After doing the code changes (top 3) you will then need to use the "new" Minimum IPW SHLL0 table to set your Minimum IPW - you will need to replace what the stock value is with ~1.1 or whatever you want. Feel free to use +/- keys to increment/decrement

Cheers

Hey guys,

I tried the Patch above on an Evo7 ECU 90550701 and what it does is strange, first I only see two entries vs three for every other rom, and secondly whenever the Min IPW is touched, the Maf filtering low is changed as well.

Doesn't seem right. Can anybody help? I need to get some fic2150 going on pump gas and this patch would really help.

2150's you will need too mess with other start settings as well. Here is what I have with e85 but it should still start just rich.

I can't get the patch to work with my 96532706 Tephra V7 rom.

I did insert the patch but the min ipw seems to be set at 0.04ms (have not changed anything yet).

If I insert the values like you should do and set it to 1.028 or even 0.7ms it will still run pig rich.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Can't figure out what.

Injectors are 2150 FIC.

Is it just me or did the forum coding screw up this entire thread including the information in the original post?
