I think a mod accidently deleted my post as well.

But no oil squirter's were added. David did not feel they were necessary.

When some of this snow goes away - I cant wait to drive it on the street. Its going to be a lot of fun.

Pizza man you have managed to turn this into a pissing match for no damn reason. Read the thread & you might be able to figure out what really going on.

1. Daves initial intentions were to build this motor for a big turbo high RPM motor to make some big power.
2. That initial build fell through and the motor was unclaimed
3. This particular cars original motor was destroyed & he needed a new complete motor with no core to swap ASAP. This motor was ready to go & unclaimed at the time.
4. He never wanted to run a huge turbo & doesn't have to just because his motor is capable of suporting it.

Personally I think this motor with a Red or Black is the ultimate street setup. Especially if you toss E85 in the mix. Yes more power could be made but this setup spools fast, makes big power, & has one a hell of a usable power curve. Whats not to love. Sure it's not the ultimate drag car but something tell me thats not what the owner is looking to get out of it. There will be other builds with this motor I'm sure and most likely with a larger turbo. Just don't go arround giving people hell for not picking the setup you would prefer. In my opinion and thats all it is. I would run a built 2.0 with 10k+ redline and a huge turbo for drag racing. Or I'd run this motor with a Black & E85 for street/road course use. If you don't agree then thats fine. It's just my opinion. You're entitled to your own opinion too but htere is no need to be pissy if others don't agree.

The car may visit the drag strip.. oh.. 6-10 times a year. Mainly - its a weekend toy. Something to take to car cruises and just enjoy driving on nice days.

I am going to try it as it is and see what I like or dont like and as Shunder mentioned - A black may improve on the enjoyment of this STREET car. And you are also right -- e85 would be a blast.. but the nearest pump to me is 20 miles away.

20 miles, that's it? The benefits of e85 are so huge I would easily drive 20 miles one way to get it. Just take a couple gas cans with you and get an extra tanks worth each trip. E85 super fuel is worth the effort. It certainly can save a motor rather than running 93 to the edge and worrying about a bad tank of gas.

But what if i take it anywhere? I make drives up north, across the state, to ohio... you name it. I dont want to plan my trip around where I can buy fuel. =)

I think meth maybe a better choice for me - over e85.

If you're on stock ECU still you can run Tephra mods & a Jack of Trades map switching switch so you can run either 93 or E85 at the flip of a switch. Get some extra gas cans as mentioned above & run E85 while arround town. Then if you're out where e85 is not available you can flip the switch & run 93 till you find more e85. It's a pretty simple setup.

Never thought of that one! I may do that come summer. We will see if the red on e85 is enough for me or not.

According to e85fuels.com there is a pump 4.6 miles from my house. Unfortunatly - that is "the way the crow flies" and it happens to be on the turnpike. Blah.

But would you run e85, or meth+93?

Glad the build is finally done. Im a little dissapointed its not turning the 9k rpm or 900whp but thats not what the customer wanted.

Now if only xRoguex buys a 6262 or 6765 and goes for 900whp at 9k. But to each their own.

I agree. I want to drive the car and see how it feel first. The car is anything but a "drag car".

It is an SSL - so its a super pig as it is. And I just upgraded to full a full polk system. Component sets up front, rear speakers and a new sub/box and a kicker 750.5 amp.

That's lime building an all engine Evo!!!
how many 7 or 8 seconds cars have you ever built? They were referring to Dave buschur.. and you don't want none of him, hes got a flat 9 second street driven white evo.
