I have to look into the oil feed line issue, I had a EF4 and a FP Black both die within 200 miles max due to oil starvation and I was using a MAP feed line .

I am not sure if it is related to the oil feed line. Although I can't gamble on my 3rd time. It is not cheap to install/remove the turbo every month

Are you paying someone to do it for you? If so, that would be brutal!

Nate, I sent in my ef4 after it blew and the response MAP gave me was that the bearings seized up due to lack of oiling. Could it be possible that the person inspecting the turbo overlooked the oil line?

I am also paying someone else to do it. I do not have a choice since there is no space available to do it where I live.

I was bent out of shape that I had to pull mine off due to the internal wastegate failing after driving the car 3 times... paying for new gaskets out of pocket.. but I have a lift and a place to work at home so I'm not paying anyone at least.. can't imagine paying someone for all that labor when it's not your fault (at least in some of these cases). Hope it all works out ok for you guys in the end

That's why I don't like "lifetime warranty" parts from auto-parts stores. What good is a free replacement if you're doing it once per month?

I'll try and post my dyno sheet up later but got tuned on Thursday by Aaron at English. Car with the ef4 made 570/500 on e85 @35lbs with my 2.2l 4g63 std rod size. Aaron felt we could have maybe hit the 600 on the dybo but humidity was 89% and the car wouldn't make more then 35lbs peak on the dyno, I will say on the street in 4th it peaks 37lbs once I got into some better weather . I'm very happy with how it did.

The car pulls like a frieght train all the way to 9k it crazy the difference in the power band compared to the last set up on the stock block ef3.
Important mods that matter:

2.2l 9:3.1 cp pistons, oliver rods, eagle 94mm crank and acl race bearings.
Inline double pumper with FIC 2150s
Full hks carbon exhaust with ams test pipe
Gsc s2s with the 5041 springs and titanium retainers
Toxic fab Mani and o2 dump
Ams IC with ets piping.
Grimspeed 3 port EBC
As far as power parts that what I can think of for now. I'll try and get the dyno sheet posted today

It looks like MAP has a problem with paying attention to the parts they are sending out, and costing people a lot of time, and money because of it. Thankfully Kevin kept pulling/troubleshooting the issues, and even came and picked the car up from 400+ miles away for free! No one else would have done that. He even initially gave me the stock turbo as a loaner for free! I just decided to keep it for now, and paid him for it though. MAP cost me thousands of dollars in car notes/insurance due to the fact that I had to keep that S2000 much longer than expected. Now the buyers I had for it have since bought other cars, so it is STILL costing me money just sitting. It was supposed to be sold in May of last year. Now their negligence has cost you money too. We aren't the only two who have had turbo's fail because of this issue. I've been looking around the forum since my issues first started.

Ok I have read your story, and I have come to the conclusion that your just impatient about what had happened. Now with that said I understand frustration, I understand you wanted to get it back on the road etc., but when it comes down to it you bashing a company for being busy? Look everyones car is important to them, it didn't look like it was you only car and the fact you sat there and *****ed the whole time about things if it were me I would have made you wait too. I mean they did a good thing by sending you another turbo without checking out the original turbo first. I know when my original sst turbo blew it took them some time to get it figured out and now I have my ef4 and guess what that was my only car and I put up with it. Kevin did you a good service by picking up your car and doing whatever else he had did and props to him for doing a good deed for a customer. Bottom line is you wanted map to bend the rules for you just cause it is your car and you wanted it running. So with that said after the second turbo went you should have figured there was something else wrong with you car not the turbo. Oil feed line was to small ok **** happens and unfortunately it cost you a little time and a few bucks cause the guy didn't buy your s2000 ok I get that. I mean **** happens all over the place mang and I think with all that was said and what was done you probably got them during a busy time and something got misplaced idk I wasn't there but I know when I got my beta ef4 it came with lines as well. Hell they shipped it out without a wastegate being it wasn't developed yet before they went with the turbosmart ones. Did I get pissed yeah a little but if it is out of my hands what am I gonna do. Point is they took care of the problem, they fixed me up with a new turbo, yeah it cost me money too but it has been strong for me and I beat the **** out of it without any issues. I think you just on a power trip cause your pissed off cause ur car isn't or wasn't running yet and you want to go by your own time line not theirs. Thing I don't get is they are willing to help you to make it right and all u wanna do is **** and moan about it. Just my .02

Bad situations suck and so does timing....But I gotta admit blaming MAP for being stuck with an S2000....that's a stretch.
