You should probably get on that whole tune thing , seems kinda sad to have all that power potential and not be able to use it , and oh yeah winter is coming soon.

Here is my results on the EF4 so far on the X. We didn't finish the tune, had an oil leak somewhere sadly so its being looked at now.

This things spool was crazy. I was hitting 20psi at 3100 rpms, stock like spool basically. We had to slow spool way way down which sucks because it took away a lot of torque/spool down low but its still very good. The third graph is vs. my old fp black setup on a 2.0L which was set on kill mode, 37psi etc.

500whp on this dyno is about 570whp-580whp on a DJ just an FYI.

Ill wait for your final results , what boost was this at??? And why were you trying to limit spool so much ?
You have a built motor can they not handle higher torque like a built 4g63?

Edit just saw the boost plot , you must be hitting 20PSI on the street in 4th?

The extra displacement going to work. Good to see it's back up.

We didn't finish tuning the boost curve, we were aiming for 28psi. We had to limit spool, it was spooling way too fast and we were getting compressor surge or something. We couldn't supply enough fuel either until we dialed mivec back and it was going lean so we had to slow the spool.

Torque isn't an issue at all. The 390wtq on this dyno is around 450wtq on a dynojet. Not sure what you mean by 20psi on the street in 4th?

Thanks Ron! Hopefully the oil leak on the dyno is something simple and I have it back next week. Need to make a pass this year before snow. Might want you to try it too down the 1/4 if you are around as you are the man

Here is the the final tune, last graph is simulated dynojet numbers (just a correction factor, but been proven time and time again to be within 1-2%):

Not sure what the deal was when we first had the mivec maps aggressive in there but changes today didn't change spool much and just made it more knock prone.

I am happy where its at and for a 600ish whp turbo I'll take the spool I am seeing.
