MAP EF-series Turbochargers results thread
Yea I wanted to keep the tq low since I'm still on the stock block and don't want to chance anything untill i build the block this summer.
yeah i can see what you mean now with that 200whp at lower rpms. good eye haha. I will certainly agree the EF3 is the best stock frame turbo out there today. The only reason I got rid of mine was for the EF2.5, hoping I can recover some of that lost spool. If i ever have a built 2.3 or 2.4 I'm certainly going with the EF2.5 or EF3.
If you look at most EF3 and 2.0 FP Red graphs they are hitting 200WHP between 3600-4100 The EF3 spools nearly identical to a red.
Didn't mean to come off harsh BTW in my reply, I wrote that late last night and was just trying to be clear.
I would think with some more fine tuning of the Wastegate/cams/rest of your setup, You will even get the EF3 to move that 200WHP mark on the otherside of 4K.

I dont think so, I sold it to a guy in oklahoma.
On the mustang dyno there it made that 484 number with higher boost then the 510 on the Dynojet at MAP. After a full retune and higher poost (3PSI) he picked up about 50WHP to put it at that 532, And at this point doesnt have enough Fuel pump to make anymore power, supposedly it will make plenty more power then that 532 according to Kevin at EvoD.
I bet with another pound or two of boost it will crack 600 On a dynojet.

well I'm no expert, but I think with the 272's you should. I have a few more mods than you but stock cams on Evo 9 and I'm hoping for 400 on 93... we will see when I actually get it running
