Ive made 475whp at 26psi (e85) on my old ef3 stock block. I'd imagine with some more boost and timing it would've easily seen 520whp. Considering my ef2.5 is making 500 on a dynojet

I would love to see 500 on a dynojet. I cant wait to get my 2.5 and see what I can do on e85.

Currently waiting for my IX to get out of the shop. Waiting is the hardest thing to do lol Below will be my mod list..

MAP Ef3 (ported)
S2 cams
Speed density
Ets turbo manifold (1.5”)
MAP o2 dump
ETS 3in fmic
Fic 850s
3in tbe cat delete
Gs 3port ebc
Dw 255 pump

Stock block, peak boost around 27 falling to 25 I believe. Im looking for 440whp+ on dynojet. 93 octane. Ill post graphs soon hopefully.

Those 850s are going to be what holds you back. I think 1050's are the injector of choice on 93 for the EF3. That's what I'm running.

Yeah I forgot that he was running smaller injectors. I dont think he was planning on upgrading from a smaller turbo for a while but then went all out lol

850s should be ok for pump gas. I agree with you though they will be a little on the small size but should make you some decent power.

I had a tuner say that my 1000's and a walbro wouldn't make much more power on e85 than 93. Is that true?

Big power on E85 starts when you start running 1450, 1650, 2150cc injectors. With those larger injectors, you will make more power on E85.

EDIT: In other news, I made my appointment to have STM retune my car in a couple weeks after I install my EF3.

What are your other mods? My setup is very similar to the first post in this thread. Except for s2's and speed density. Peak boost will be 26psi.

This thread needs an EF2 update so ...... here you go.

Today I had a chance to throw the car on RS Motors mustang dyno. We ran a baseline with my back road tune and then Ron did some tweaking.

My VD numbers were 429whp and that pull and be viewed in the bottom of this post. Today that tune was the equivalent of 375whp on the RS Motors stingy mustang dyno.

Anyway after some adjustments today's mustang dyno pull also resulted in 429WHP but that is a 55whp gain over the previous tune. Other than a bump of midrange timing the only modification that was performed was the crushing of my stock EVO9 metal DV and that made all the difference in the world. So much in fact that the original pull was made with the duty cycle set maxed at 100 and the last pull works its way up from peak torque at 80 thru 90.

I haven't had the chance to perform another VD pull but I'm expecting to see numbers that align better with the marketing material LOL!

Keep in mind my evo has stock cams, stock O2 and stock intake pipe with MAF.

Very nice gains. Did you notice any increase in compressor surge due to crushed bov?
