Cool, thanks jimbo & Chris. I probably should've just opened my EF3 up before I installed it, but this was easier.

On a side note, I've had my EF3 on my car for a week now - I'm loving every mile of it.

There was a pull after this netting 612whp SAE Corrected. This is more than 650 on a Dynojet.

Will be running this in a 2500-2600ish lb car with slicks tomorrow. Keep you guys posted.

How are you only running a single walbro 255?

Because its C16 and not E85. A single wally with race gas can support 600-700hp.

I think I may have asked you this before, but are you still on the 6-speed? I highly doubt it, but figure I should ask.

What weight was used on the dyno, 2600 or the typical 3600 most use on dyno days?

Yep. Will eventually go to E85/E98, but still have to do a complete fuel overhaul.

HELL NO. That junk melted down at 60k miles. Been on a Shep 5spd with stock final drive for over 30k miles now.

That's a good question. I'm really not sure. All I know is it reads lower than pretty much everyone else.

*Update: Went to Import Faceoff and got a whole 3 passes in before weather ended my day. Conditions were typically terrible for Pittsburgh this time of year: 90 degrees with 90% humidity. Track elevation 1300ft. I bogged off the line all three times and couldn't do any better than a 1.8 60ft. Best pass was an embarrassing 11.30@134 with granny shifting and I hit fuel cut before the traps - probably would have trapped 137.

Car rips and I'm still confident it will do solid 9s with a 1.4-1.5 60ft. I just need to knock the rust off as it was my first pass on this setup and first time driving the car in a year and a half. To be continued...

well I finally signed a lease on a house which means I can actually start driving my car again instead of having it just sit in a storage unit. I need to eventually get to a track to get some times with my EF3, but I'll wait until the weather cools off. Not much fun going down the track at 100*F

good to see some numbers from other people

Well, on the 10.2 pass, I cut a 1.71 60ft due to over inflation of the tires and spinning/lifting out of the hole. We dropped the psi down to 18 and on the next pass I cut a 1.47 60ft...slammed second like a boss, .2 seconds faster at the 330 mark...then 3rd decided that I was going too fast for it's liking and said NO.

So, that was the single digit pass right there. I think my 3rd gear is messed up. Won't go into gear at high rpm. Ordering underhood and base shifter bushings to see if it will alleviate the problem, but I don't have high hopes. Clio tells me I have a second tranny build in my future.

Going to also try short shifting 3rd next time. Was VERY frustrated and settling with the 10.2 was bittersweet knowing that the 9 second pass was only two shifts away. I'll figure out how to squeek a 9 second pass in there one way or another...it's definitely got the cojones to do it!

Well, it went a little faster. Still won't be satisfied until I get that 9 second pass, but we're getting there. Looks like I'm going to need a refreshed tranny after all . https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/dr...n-quicker.html
