It has been discussed and some testing has taken place, but we're still a ways off from a release of any sort. We will not be releasing anything until it has been tested and proven.

That 12.16 @ 112mph would have been an easy 11 sec pass if you hadn't gotten out of it.

whatever you did to get your 60ft that good do it again next time out
Yep I agree. I need to contact you for a retune now that I'm in texas and not Kansas. I do think 11s are in reach without cams

I've been wondering when the best time to tune the car is, in reference to the outside temperature? Is it an issue having the car tuned in 40℉ weather when the temps in texas get to 110℉ in the summer?

new update... A local tuner told me he wouldn't tune me because i had a walbro 400; luckily for me, i have a buddy who has no issues with tuning a Walbro 400... should be putting in the R2 cams in Friday possible Saturday and from there getting tuned shortly after....Can't Wait!

he basically said they have idle issues and he prefers double pumpers.. I've talk to many other tuners and they said there is no real issue just inexperienced..

The only issue at idle with a 450 is maybe that the base fuel pressure is high. Nothing a person can't tune around.

A single pump is always better than a double pumper, less points of failure.

Hey guys,

I think I will be ordering the EF3 and AMS downpipe by the end of the week. I do have a question though since I am fairly new to upgrading turbos. I read that the AS cover is not needed with the proper BOV. I'm assuming I should upgrade my BOV from stock and if so what do you guys recommend?

I am currently at 397 HP/371 on a dynapack

Pretty much all the basic bolt ons including E and 1200cc injectors

ETS Intake, upper and lower IC piping
AMS IC
RRE 3 port
UR exhaust and test pipe
I forget the fuel pump. It's the one RRE gives as part of the E85 upgrade

I am hoping to get around 450 to 470HP while keeping the Torque under 400.

Thanks

With those power goals, you should pm evotuner on here about picking up his EF2.5 He made great numbers (over 500 on a built motor) and i love my ef2.5. His is really low miles and a great price.
EF3 might be over kill for you.

Well my short term goal is as much HP as possable out of the stock block while keeping it somewhat safe.

Long term is rebuild and around 600hp.

Thanks

I'm a firm believer in only upgrading when you need to. I run 25-27psi with my stock BOV. I did crush it a bit, however.
What is "AS"?

Thanks. I ended up ordering the EF3 and AMS DP today and they told me I don't need a BOV at this point.

Sorry AS = Anti Surge
