^-- Good luck with your EF3 setup! We'll see who hits 400hp first!

What additional mods are you running?

well since I'm sending a mod list to my tuner, I'll post the full list here as well

'06 Evo IX
Stock Block
Stock Head
Kiggly HLA
JDL Stock Replacement Tubular Manifold
MAP EF3 with 3" Anti-Surge Cover
JDL o2 Dump
Greddy Ti-C Exhaust
MAP LICP
ETS 3.5" Intercooler
STM Short Route Piping
Tial Q BOV
Mil.Spec 65mm Throttle Body
MAP Rev2 Ported Intake Manifold
FIC 1450cc Injectors
Boomba Fuel Rail
EGR/Evap Canister Delete with EGR head port tapped/plugged
SpoolinUp COP kit
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Grimspeed 3 port Boost Controller
JMF 4" Intake with 7" (I think is the length) K&N Filter

I think that's everything, but I might have missed something...

I tried to get parts that work well together both now and in the future. Basically my car is setup to make good power now, then one day I can get 272 cams and stay on 93 octane and hopefully get around 450whp. Then I always have the option of going with a larger fuel pump and running E85 with everything else the same and maybe get close to 500whp? Even if I decide to upgrade the engine to a built block, all these parts should still work great together, maybe with the addition of an EF4 upgrade if I ever go that route... I try to think of things down the line, not just right this minute

here's a ****ty cell phone picture from the other day

Nice list - after reading yours, I guess I left a few things off my list, but nothing that would make a big difference.

One difference between our setups though, it sounds like you are going speed density. Any reason you are going that route over the MAF? Also, is your car a DD? I'll be daily driving my EF3 setup.

It's not a DD, I think I've put 5k miles on it in a year and a half. I went speed density mainly for the 4" intake ability, but also the better driveability. I guess it was needed for my BOV as well

These are the perfect stock block turbo's IMO.

Will be posting a frankenstein EF2.5/ef3 up for sale later this week.

I see alot of dyno numbers, any track numbers yet for one of the EF3/EF4's? I've personally watched the STM Ricer in street trim/tires 11.1@131mph on an EF3, just wondering if anyone has some 1/4 mile ET/MPH info

the 131 MPH trap speed really says it all. Some QTP's, good 60s, and driving, I think the EF3 is certainly capable of low 10s.

That was at 460ishwhp@29-30psi on STM's Mustang Dyno, so it was right inline with what it should be trapping.

I'm at 412whp/420wtq on a stock 8 turbo/10.5HS @ 29psi on the same dyno, and I trap 125mph. The next turbo I get I would like to be capable of an easy 100whp/10mph gain on the same dyno/track. So I'm curious who has one that's been turned up past that 30psi mark for a decent amount of time and lived to tell about it. I saw the one dyno plot but didn't see any 1/4mi data.

The turbo sounds awesome in that track video, and it is definitely doing work. How many psi was it at?

On E85 an EF3 should work very well at 32-34 PSI with a proper tune. MAP told me that the EF2.5 probably shouldn't be pushed past 35-36 PSI IIRC.

I would think at 34 PSI on an EF3 you'd be pushing 530-550 whp on a dynojet with good supporting mods.

I plan to test my EF2.5 at 30-32 PSI if the tuner finds those levels to be safe for daily driving usage.
