Soon my friend , been busy with work which leaves no time to finish up the car. I will post results as promised once my friend gets together with me to finish my car up!

What Mivec map are majority of IX users using these days? I'm currently on the John Bradley S2 map posted in the mivec tuning thread.

Got my new WGA on two days ago... dialing in the power now.

Using 22 psi spring with 4-5 half turns of preload...

If I'm reading my data properly, according to the MAP sensor, it's making full boost at 3800-3900 RPM.

So, what is full boost in your case, DisgustipatedM3? Is it a switchable, dual-mapped tune or not?

Do the CT9A versions of these turbos use the cheaper (chinese?) rather than OEM hotsides too? Is anyone experiencing melting issues like the evo X guys are?

well i've had my ef2.5 on my car for about a week now but still waiting on my tuner to give me a call, hes been REALLY backed up lately. I'm excited to get a dual map 93/e85 tune and see what it puts down. I'll update the thread with my results once he gives me the call to come in.

On a side note, the turbo sounds sooooooo awesome. It makes that jet engine whirr during spool up that ef3 owners talk about.

Oh. I read that he had the 22# spring in his actuator. I wasn't sure about his peak boost level though.

I am pretty crappy at interpreting graphs on my cel phone screen, but it looks like about 23-24# and starting to creep just a wee bit out the top over 6500.

Ya I was kinda seeing it as 22-23..but hey whatever....but either way it's making it just a touch below 4,000. Should be right at 4100 or so to 25 psi. Certainly better spool numbers than Evotuner's for whatever reason. Honestly starting to like this little hybrid more and more. Produces good torque, decent spool numbers, and decent pump gas efficiency above 25 psi.

definately. The EF3 compressor sucks at 22 psi (much like the red at this low boost). I am willing to put money on the fact my stock turbo is making more power than his 2.5 right now at 22 pounds. Definitely needs close to 30 pounds to make it worth while.
