Did the original poster ever show his results???

Ended up having my exhaust manifold start leaking, possibly cracked. A friend is giving me a like-new exhaust manifold and I'm putting on a new gasket with it tomorrow when I get home from vacation.

The leak was causing the tune to constantly fluctuate... and eventually the manifold blew so loose that my car was audibly leaking. Sounded like an old-*** VW Bug LOL and it ran ultra-rich.

So once I throw that on, the tune can actually be finished. Whew! Doing that this week. What a pain-in-the-butt my car has been. Sorry everyone!

 

lol sorry to hear about that man. Things always pop up to mess up our plans lol. I had my fuel pump problem, you have your manifold problem lol. I'm planning on having a new fuel pump in by Wednesday and I'm going back Friday to get the tune finished. Really would be happy breaking 410 but with stock cams on 93 I dont know.

 

I am thinking you'll break 410 on 91. This turbo is apparently pretty awesome on pump gas.

Ok, so, update for everyone: got all the issues resolved with my car. The tuning resumes tomorrow! FINALLY.

 

I'm on 93 not 91 lol. And yeah i agree this turbo feels awesome even on pump gas. I'm really thinking about putting some e85 in the car to see what it can really do Cant wait for your results man!

 

Ok so my car had a TON of issues. Fixed all of them. I am going to start tuning again on my way home. I hope to be done in the next 2 days now that I don't have issues creeping up and messing with the tune.

Tonight will be fun. As soon as I get some respectable virtual dynos, I will post them in the next couple of days and have the mods change the thread title!

Did you get your final results yet? I'm heading back to my tuner tomorrow to put the finishing touches on my tune with my ef2.5. I'll try to get my results on here and possibly a dyno graph.

 

Im getting re tuned on the 17th. Should be interesting

Update: Yesterday I decided to switch tuners. Tom at TSCOMPUSA is going to be doing the tune. We will be working on the tune tonight. Tom works really fast and I'm really excited that he's going to be getting the job done.

 

Thanks man. No graph unfortunately. My tuners printer was still inop. The car is driving smooth as butter and I'm very pleased with my results. Also, I'm on stock cams and valvetrain just in case anyone else wants to know.

 

tune was way off. hopefully no damage was done to the engine. we should get some work done tonight on the car.
