Ordering this badboy to replace my Titek o2 housing and freshly dented downpipe:

MAP is giving me a great price on it so it's a no-brainer. Getting the recirculating dump + 3D flange. Should go right along with the new turbo.

I got that as well. Best recirculated setup for stock frame turbo IMHO.

I think the EF2.5 will put down 20-30 whp more at peak than an HTA Green will. I am hoping it will come close to the EF3 peak #'s, which would be very very impressive if it spools close to the EF2.

So you think it's worth it, huh? It looks like a gorgeous piece and extremely well designed. Can't wait to see how it performs. Glad to get some input on it.

MAP calls this an external 'recirculated' dump. So I think the gains are a bit less than the full dump, but MUCH quieter. The full o2 dump is insanely loud, I have heard one in person and it is roughly 4-5x louder than full WOT on an Evo, to the point where it will reflect off other surfaces thousands of feet away to make the car sound like it is actually in another place. Plus I do not want to have the car that loud when WOT during track usage... it'll already be loud enough, I'd rather not blow out my ears and annoy everyone else at the track as well.

My downpipe got a dent in it, so I figured why not sell it + Titek o2 housing and get something even nicer? I am hoping it will give better gains and considering it's basically a free upgrade, I'm not complaining. Insurance helped me out with that one.

I am considering doing a full MAP upgrade system after the o2 eliminator + EF2 turbo: MAP Rev 2 intake manifold, MAP exhaust manifold, basically everything. If MAP continues offering me the great pricing and customer service that I demand as a consumer, why do I need to go elsewhere? If they're willing to hook me up and let me continue testing and reviewing their products, I'd be more than happy to stick with them.

I ordered one... got it for $220!

Everything is paid for and will be shipped on Monday! Turbo is on its way!! So I expect to install it, the MAP short runner manifold, and MAP o2 eliminator recirc dump on Saturday and begin tuning at the same time.

Looks like my mid-range and top end are about to get another 100-150 whp...

Hell yes!!! Not that I truly enjoy drag... road racing is my real passion. And I'll turn down the boost for road racing, 500 whp is a bit overkill.

I absolutely cannot wait. I hope this car traps 130+... would be nice to gain over 10 mph trap in one single round of upgrading.
