Yes sir, this will be assembled there and I'll share my thoughts on evo turbos
Be prepared to tune out! I'll try not to get too technical.

Look at the differences between stock IX, cast 20G, and HTZ Black.

Lost my write up a 4th time from loading pictures!

Anyway, turned out to be my oem motor and tranny mounts causing the launching vibrations and not the wheels hopping. I'll install dog bone later to complete the upgrade. Now I have bogging problems. Lol
Got 1 good run in and rest had bog because my Exedy twin locks up too fast and drops engine to 3000 rpms. I'm #4019 on the time slip.

Changing the mounts may cause more vibration and the knock sensor may become more sensitive .

Your MPH seems a bit low for 485/430. Was there any other issues or was it just on low pump gas boost?

FWIW, I went 12.3@113 on my stock turbo on pump gas @350/ full weight.

Hi Tim, it was really hot out. Fontana is a tough track to go fast.
Also, I have not installed the Magnus launch control I bought from you yet.

Ok, Heat plays a small role. Did the logs show anything odd or low boost?

I installed an STM HFC and removed my old Walker type HFC. It feels like boost comes on slower. I have not installed my 100 cell HFC yet. And I lost my laptop so I don't have any logs. I will find a way to raise my 2 step to 6500. Currently, it's at 6000 and just hooks up too well with twin disk and rpm slams to 3000 and bogs.

Can't wait to see your "54" results. It will ultimately help me decide which route to take; shelve out for a HTA71, build my own TD05 20G or replicate your "54".

Sorry if I've confused you. The 54mm 9 blade turbine wheel is a TD06 wheel (FP54, which is a Green turbo, not 71) The TD05 9 blade with 20G is not "54" but it is comparable to 71hta. I expect it to be slightly laggier than 71 but have more up top because of 9 blade. @Lumpy Sticks will be upgrading to one of these when he's ready. I think best test is to log his oem 9 boost curve and then match it on this upgrade to get VD power curves. Then push this turbo's limits to see where it's most happy.

As for my plans, due to limited funds for a tuner, I'll skip the billet 20G TD06 SL2R ("54") and mate this 54 9 blade wheel to an EF3 wheel (similar to FP Red). I'm hoping for the lag of a FP Green with power close to FP Red. Hope this clears things up.

Ya I am slacking a little bit.... I have 2 races left for this year and then I think that should be a good time to do the swap. I should have my house back together by then too.

I think this TD05 9 blade with billet 20G will end up in between FP 71hta and Green.
