I have AEM SS 5 bar and an AEM flex fuel sensor (spare) in asdirion to my Innovate ethanol gauge.

I'll adjust timing down to where most everyone has it.

Fontana Sunday street legal drags? If so, count me in! The weather looks like its going to be really nice. I might be able to round up 2 other Evo owners as well. @SoSoEVO and @RussianEVO

Yes sir! I'll start off with breakfast at Denny's before the track opens.

Breakfast is too early for me haha. 1 year old = no sleep how it is. Making it on time to the track will be hard enough. He has doubled in size and energy since the last time you saw him. But I am 99% going to be at the track. Just have to make sure I have a baby sitter. Shouldnt be a big deal.

Take the timing out of it, and lean it out 10% in boost in the MAP/VE table. You don't need a 10.0 AFR on E.

Yep. I'll have it cleaned up and then fine tuned on track.

Also, turns out, AFRs were in 10s on spool up and leans out to 12.7 up top. Now, car runs 11.5-11.8 with dips into 10.8 at spool up where max wtq was (3100-3800). Last night, my 71hta now spikes to 35psi and settles down to normal. So my revised tune lets turbo spike higher and run no timing until turbo settles down. And timing is about 5° less throughout (and more at spool up range). My tires no longer breaks loose in 1st gear at spool up, but it still hauls. It was fun going sideways when turbo hit, but this is more sane. Haha.

looks like some good progress.

If you don't mind me offering my .02,

You have something going on where you are going rich then lean and then ok (I don't mean too rich/lean just assuming a 11.5 target). I would try and smooth that out a bit. This might not be a tuning thing, but you should be able to see whats going on from the fuel map. If the map is pretty smooth in those areas then that would make me lean more mechanical. Then I would probably take all those 0 timing cells and make them 1 so you don't get 0101 oscillation going on.

Your timing is very conservative in the 3k range. You can probably add more back and compare Virtual dyno charts. If it picks up torque add more and repeat. If it doesn't get more (or very little) torque or it loses then subtract 1 and call it.

I agree. I will fine tune more later. Only E85 was chaged. I'll get to 91 maps later when I switch fuel.

I lost my VD graphing with my Surface Pro. I'll need to set it up on my Asus Transformer. So I have no idea what my wtq is at this time. Lol

I think timing down low looks ok. The curve really looks decent but I would like to see boost, not just load. Depending on boost, it may be happier with not getting 5* until 5k, and then slowing the ramp to 10* out to 6k, then 15* at 7, and if you revved it 8k, you could give it another 1-2 degrees from 7-8.

Also, why aren't you revving it to 7600 or 8k?

I was doing pulls on freeway onramps. Cars in slow lanes were going 70 and I'm pulling right up to them and hitting brakes. Lol
