Here's a graph with knock back to oem numbers (with my reduced boost to under 30psi at all times) and the table. Now I wonder how much more power I had before the oem knock setting.

How is it under 30 psi when it clearly shows 34 psi in your log?

I highly recommend using VirutalDyno over Evoscan for plotting.

Also, can you upload your logs to datazip.me?

The lower power curve is under 30psi and the 34psi log is the higher power. PM me your email.

I meant create an account on datazap.me and upload your logs there. Way easier to share and visualize.

Example is a log from my Evo on my account:

What are you using for a MAP sensor? The JDM 3bar can't even read 30# so either your formula is off or you have an OMNI 4bar in there or something along those lines.

It is jdm. In theory, it doesn't read that high, but I think it has cushion to read a little higher. But I agree that I don't trust the accuracy past 30psi. I did zero it out in the formula with engine off.

Are you sure about that? I'm not so don't want to pretend like I'm in the know. What I do know is I used to have a JDM 3 bar but replaced it with a 4 bar. 1 bar=14.7# and first bar is atmospheric pressure so you have 2 bars to work with aka 29.4# should be the max at least in theory.

That's a good point, but I would assume the 29.4 psi be the lowest reading so they will meet the minimum requirement to call it a 3 bar sensor. But when they build it, they should aim to read at least 32psi so that when some sensors fall short, it will still be good to sell.

Also, I record a video of my afr and boost gauges during runs to compare the max readings. They correlate so far.

The JDM MAP sensor will read accurately all the way to its limit which, IIRC, is about 32-33 psi.

With my 30psi max boost, I was able to get into 11s....barely.

Is there a reason why you aren't putting your logs on datazap.me?

Sorry Bryan, I haven't figured out how to use datazap. I'll try again. Search for my screen name.

It's pretty easy. Sign up for an account. Upload your CSV file logs and there ya go.

Thanks Bryan. I've been trying to use it on my phone and the words are too tiny to read. I need to try with a laptop. I have a few logs in there.
