Well I did some weight loss over the winter. A/C delete, light weight seats and pulled my seat belts and added a harness bar and harnesses. I had a goal of coming in under 2800 and it didn't happen. It tipped the scales at 2840 with just over a 1/4 tank of fuel. Looks like I need to fine some more stuff to pull out. I haven't gone extreme yet so I think it is doable. Anyone know the best bang for your buck weight loss wise. I'm looking at brakes next.

we would need a list of what you have done so we know what your next step would be. but if none of your weight reduction is rotational then i would start there. if your spending the money on weight why not spend it where you will get weight loss plus rotational. brake rotors can give huge weight savings and rotational savings. also a drive shaft is another bonus part.

looking for some help on lightweight products im thinking about purchasing. im trying to make the car very street friendly as possible but still performance oriented (dont want constant rattles or shaking etc). i wanted to get people's opinions on some upgrades before i purchase to see if the would be considered "streetable". one thing im changing currently is removing the torque solution engine/trans mounts as they shook the car like crazy as soon as i turned the a/c on lol here are the things im looking at doing and want to see what you guys recommend:

motor mounts: take torque solution ones out and replace with either oem or ams poly ones
Buschur cross member
Buschur mustache bar
Buschur rear side diff mounts
fiber images hood (dont want it if it flexes like crazy lol)
fiber images or robispec trunk (have 2 10" subs in trunk so not sure if it can handle vibration)

wish list.... ams carbon roof lol

Initial weight of my car is in. 2801 pounds. This is with the rear seat taken out. No oil cooler, undertrays or gas in the car.

That weight was with my stock driveshaft and PC680 battery. I have a 4 pound battery and devo driveshaft. So there is 25 pounds. My race wheels are probably 5 pounds lighter each, so there is another 20 pounds.

Should be interesting to see when she is all said and done!!!

Ding ding ding

You are correct it is off the gas pedal. Two 14 mm nuts and slide the throttle cable off and out it goes. I simply took a air grinder and cut it off and re-installed the pedal. Feels just like it did before.
