well today i was able to put the key in the car and see what works and does not work. HAHAH. and of course i have issues.

normally you here the fuel pump prime the system when you turn the key. normally it would prime for about 3 or so seconds. i have no prime. the pump is dead.

but if i hook up the power supply to the double pumper ''second pump'' it kicks on but never shuts off unless u pull its power.

so i do not think ill make my tune date Saturday. i can see this taking forever. i have to call chase bay's and find out what is going on because this is an ongoing issue. i was un able to test it from its last issue because i had the car so far apart it was impossible.

Did you do the harness or did Chase Bays do it?

Here is what my engine bay harness looks like so far. I have removed 6.7 lbs of wire so far. Most of the weight coming from the ACD/ABS stuff.

The good so far:

And on the flip side..... **** ME!!! Look at all the crap I get to sort through now to make look nice once again

The only part I don't like about those seats is the back, head rest part, it's so tall...I know they are supposed to be made like that, just looks funny to me...

Yes I did. I think for the money right now If I were to spend that much i'd rather get a CF roof. You can find em for under a grand shipped to your door online made by Seibon. I think i'd save 16 lbs from doing that plus it looks badass!

I want to see how well the tubular k member works/holds up before I look into it more. Did they come up with an actual weight savings from that part vs OEM?

And I am still waiting to see how much weight you saved and more pics of the tubular front end you did. Hurry up damnet!

Yeah, they have been out for a month or so now...Seems a lot of people weren't 100% happy with how they were designed...

Here is what they said about the k member "This one is a nick under 15lbs. The stocker is something like 28lbs." So only about 13lbs, but when you're at the point where there is no more weight to be saved, this is a good amount haha.

I will get more pictures of the front end asap. I coated it in nice black glossy por-15 last week. My stock front end was scrapped before I got a chance to weigh it completely forgot.

I am looking to have my engine bay painted this coming winter and will consider doing the same to my front end. I'd really like to see what you did about the front motor mount and the other tabs to hold the OEM pieces/parts in place.

Thanks!

Sucks you scrapped the OEM stuff. Do you have any measurements, specs, who bent it, etc...you can share via PM on the piece of chromoly you used

Almost sounds like a relay issue.

That's what I think chase bay is thinking. I have no clue though.

Try swapping them first with a known good relay if you don't know how to test them. They are fairly simple and if the known good one doesn't fix it then its just a lead plugged into the incorrect prong. Easy fix. I had the same issue and it was a bad relay.

well it seems we fixed the FP issue. ''i think'' it was wiring. no wire where one belonged and a jumper wire from somewhere to where one wire belonged. LOL FOLLOW???? anyways.

the main pump now primes like it should. i just hope the second pump still kicks on when it is supposed to.

scratch that. i go to start the car and the fp is dead again. at this point i am thinking about putting in a stock harness and calling it quits. i can not deal with the un reliability with this harness.
