Post exact weights of weight reduction you have done!
My hybrid exhaust that I put together: SS 02 eliminator downpipe, SS test pipe, aluminum mid-section (about 4-5 feet long), and mild-steel rear to Magnaflow muffler/tip.

Car: IX SSL
Ultimate goal: Keep: full interior, AC, PS, ABS, factory stereo. (It's my DD during the summer)
Waiting to be installed/completed:
AWD DS
BR Rear Diff support
TS EGR Delete and evap delete
Rear crash-bar delete
Bracket under steering column
Shield above DS delete
Possibly sound deadening under seats and carpets
Already done:
Non-ACD TC conversion
BR cross-member
Front crash-bar delete
Removal of tire, jack, and tools
DC titanium front strut bar
Spoolin up cop (it's good for like 2 grams lighter than stock haha)
Exedy Twin
Swift Springs
Muse battery tray with Odyssey mini
Intake bracket removed
Things I have in mind later down the road:
BR moustache bar
Godspeed front sway bar
Hotchikss rear sway bar
AWD d2
Baer Rotors
Seat lowering bracket
Trans bracket
Firewall sound deadening delete
Replace mild-steel portion of exhaust with aluminum
aluminum IC piping
Suggestions are welcomed!!! (preferably on any of the lesser expensive upgrades/ easy removal stuff I may have missed)

I don't know if yah'll will answer or not, however, before I start ripping **** out that I'd rather keep, what's the easiest/fastest way to get to 3,000lbs with a full interior?
Since I just finished my build I want to start focusing on weight reduction now. EGR stuff is already deleted.

Below is a post I made in this thread from last Nov. My car should be slightly under 3000lbs without me. I plan on going through the car & removing another 10-15lbs of random junk soon. I just can't get myself to remove AC & whatnot yet. Once I finally do my 5 spd swap & ACD delete the car will be put on the scales...
My car still has full interior, AC, PS, radio, power windows, locks, etc....
No spoiler
Spare tire, jack & tools removed
All floor mats & misc. stuff in glove box & center console removed
98% of the tar sound deadener removed & some of the mat behind the dash cut away
DC Sports Ti front & rear strut tower bars
BC coilovers
RPF1s & Hankook tires (4 lbs lighter each then my stock BBS rims & Nitto tires)
Girodisc 2 piece rotors all around
Fortune Auto Ti Lug Nuts
NRG Front seats with BR lowering brackets & no sliders
Rear wiper delete
PS Cooler tube/hardline delete
Custom Mini Battery tray with 11.5 lb Brallie Battery
Minor wire tuck done & a lot of misc. brackets & whatnot removed from engine bay
Torque Solutions Trans & Passenger side mounts
AWD Motorsports 2 piece driveshaft
BR side rear diff supports with poly bushings
Kamispeed Driveshaft solid bushings
Shep built Non-ACD T-case installed & ALL ACD stuff removed
Front & Rear crash beams removed
All EGR crap removed including hardline
Rear 02 sensor deleted
Driveshaft tunnel heat shield removed
Exedy Twin clutch with STM clutch fork stopper & STM full SST clutch line
Shep Built 5 spd (5 spd swap)
I think that is it...might be some more stuff but that is all off the top of my head...

there is many things to be done here. the free mods is the best mods. remove all the sound deadening. it does nothing anyways and is in the 25+lbs range.
how crazy do you want to get under the dash? go back a few pages and go nuts with that. you can drop a ton of weight when removing the un needed crap behind the dash. behind the brake calipers there are dust shields. you can remove them as well. also under the hood use your creativeness and look at what brackets, clips, and BS you can mod or remove.
as for the god speed parts. i know there the lightest out there but IMO there quality is poor. go with the hotchicks
rear and tanabe front. how about some Avid or TS motor mounts? do not do that if you drive this car daily or on the roads. thats only for cut up drag cars. i bet it weighs less then 5lbs.
^ Thanks man I appreciate the suggestions. I'm going to look into it!
PS I just picked up hotchicks today...too bad it was used :/ haha

I'm not sure if anyone has a solid number on what the stock fuel tank weighs but I've had mine removed for a few weeks and will be weighing it tonight to see how much weight my fuel cell system dropped over factory.
My 16 gallon plastic cell with foam weighed 13lb 5oz and it's way lighter than the bare factory tank. I sold my fuel pump housing so I'll weigh it with what's left and with it bare/empty.

It's up near 50 pounds with the fuel pump. Another area you can make a killing on weight with the gas tank is capacity. The stock tank is 16-17 gallons, but because of it's design, you can only use about 12 gallons before starvation becomes a real concern. Drop that 4-5 gallons of fuel with a smaller cell and you are looking at 25-30 pounds without any loss of range.
Although, I think the filler neck is like 7-8 pounds as well and it would be nice if you could cut that out too. Or get it down to 1-2 pounds while still being able to fill up like a normal car.
I don't think it would be legal for most racing classes either without a rubber bladder.
