hey ted what about just loading up a stage 1+ map off the vishnu webiste for the 280s? what else can i do if i cant get to a tuner asap?

You can load a map from a similarly prepared car with 272s and be in the neighborhood with respect to tuning, but the increased overlap of the 280s may very well result in a leaner mixture where you least want it. In other words, you can drive around on it, but I'd be cautious about putting a good deal of boost through it until it's properly sorted.

so running a max of 21 psi on pump 91 would be ok? can i get an afc and richen it out up top?

If anything, the curve will probably leanest at max VE, which is at the torque peak.

Again, I wouldn't take risks by putting boost through it following *any* significant changes until I was able to tune it properly, so if you decide to crank 21 psi through it...and on 91 oct at that, you're taking your chances. You may be ok, but maybe not. Just my opinion.
