To bad they don't make a bolt on GT3071R. This turbo has been rated at 700CFM which equals 48.3lb/min of flow. That is very close to what a 3071 will flow. I think the 3071 might end up being more efficient and make a little more power but it will be close.

 

Cool! I'll sit back and watch. Hopefully the phrase only fools rush in don't apply to this.

For all the people/shops who got this turbo, don't hold back and provide dyno numbers once they are available . In the meantime I'm saving up $$$$$$

 

But the price is not comparable, even ATP's kit is $2400.

 

Is this the kit or just for the turbo? I think the WR would be around there if it wasn't a Bolt On.

i think you misread my post. I agree that the White Rabbit is the best bang for the buck and will be very comparable to the 3071.

Besides, that same weekend Zeus will be getting flashed by TurboTrix (AFAIK) so 272 numbers for the WR will be out there.

 

I think you only need adjustable cam gears since your a 91 octane user. This would allow this turbo to really shine up in the top revs. You might want to consider that mod before the vishnu tune.

Absinthe made ~304 whp @ TT with a stock Inconel 9.8 turbo, custom TBE, adj. cam gears on a xede tuned by shiv on 91 octane.

Damn, I have the '03 with a 10.5 hotside, steel turbine.. what kind of transient response are we going to be "losing" here?

I assume spool will be even later with the new WR compressor wheel vs the stock compressor wheel? $895 sounds a lot better than $1500...

 

will this turbo be able to make 400awhp/400lbs of torque with all the bolt ons, 93 pump gas and reflash. If so im sold on the turbo.

 

Check out Switzer Performance. If it can't make those numbers with bolt ons and cams +tuning, it will be darn close.

You might want to define "all the bolt ons", but the answer to whether the turbo is capable of making 400whp on 93 Octane is YES.
