Some gears would help shift the power band up too.

Other than stock, fuel pump, bigger injectors, possible clutch and tuning (S-AFC, XEDE, AEM, etc.). You're done.

^

You will need injectors (650 - 720cc)
and a bigger pump

Cams, FMIC, TBE and boost controller are reccomended

damn this thread is moving so fast that i cant even get a answer to my original question

At first I watched the BR21g very closely and was really excited about that turbo. I mean I went as far as working 7 days a week for a month straight just so I would have the money to buy it. But then I saw all the problems with it and then the final product and numbers and I was very disapointed to say the least. Then I started to watch the Vishnu GT3071 turbo kit but it seems to have a long way to go and the numbers dont seem to be as close as these are to spool, whp, and tq as these are on the white rabbit. So with that being said I am going to buy the white rabbit. My modds are works 269 cams, stage 1 head work, works throttle body, intake, 3 TBE with cat delete, and a few other little things. Every thing is flashed by WORKS. I'm gonna be putting in a walbro pump and 700 injectors this week for this turbo. MY questions are

1. Will anyone be able to flash the stock ecu for this turbo?

2. If so who?

3. I read on here that we might be able to send you our own turbos in and get this done at a cheaper price is this true?

4. If so what is the price and turn around time?

5. Do you guys have any idea of what kinda of whp and tq increase that we will see over the stock turbo?

6. Is there any kind of warrenty on this turbo and if so what is it?

7. This is my last one. Is the stock fmic enough to cool this little monster or will a upgrade in FMIC and pipes make a really good difference?

From what I've been reading in your dyno graphs it looks like 50+whp and tq and I'm no expert on this but I say this because of the gains showed over a TME 10.5 turbo and I know the gains of a TME 10.5 turbo over the stocker with a 9.8 hotside.

Well guys my thoughts on this trubo is very simple. It looks stock , it makes incredible power and torque , and with some minor boltons I see a verry streetable 400+whp and tq turbo. Hell I think with all the minor boltons plus cams, aem ems, bigger intercooler and pipes, and a alky kit I think you'll see 500whp and tq !!! Now you cant beat that at all.

P.S. nebo whats up dude its mike! You should shoot me a pm about this turbo maybe we can get some people from norcal interested in this thing. oh yeah you should get the white rabbit this is a bad *** turbo!!! Just tell your girl its a new pet

1.) Initially on a custom tune basis any reflash tuner out there should have no issue creating a map for this setup, much like any other aftermarket setup, a map must be built for it in initially.

2.)Dynoflash, Turbotrix, Vishnu, Works

3.)My assumption is that you will be able to can some type of credit in doing it on a core exchange basis or in simply sending in your turbo to be rebuilt. From what's been passed the turbo utilizes a ported 05MR compressor cover. For 03 guys the added cost of a turbine 10.5 housing comes into play, as well as the question of how the turbo itself will be effected through not having a TI impeller. My guess if they are using a TME turbo as a core and redoing the compressor side. I would guess around 1,000 to get your stock turbo rebuilt, as it seems they will offer this option.

4) Probably around 1,000, if they do a core exchange program could be a quick turnaround, Im sure demand will be huge initially though so supply might be strained.

5) From looking at the charts a substanisal power increase, i would guess something in the range of 50-100+whp depending on your setup over a similarly modifed stock turbo car.

7) considering the fact that charge temperatures at pump gas boost levels (20-23psi) should be lower then a stock 16g working out of its efficiency range my guess is you'd be fine. I would think the biggest question would be how worthwhile upgrading the lower intercooler pipes will be.

Our building rocked pretty good with that recent quake, and BTW this new turbo sounds very promising also .

Something I don't think I have seen mentioned in this thread yet is the Evo IX turbo? What is that turbo going to be capable of and what is the price going to be like? All things that need to be looked into before dropping $1550 on the White Rabbit.

The compressor housing on the EVO9 is ALOT bigger than the one we currently have. It was made to hold up boost at higher rpm's. Now to get your hands on one is another story.
