Does anyone know a thing or two about radiators & fans?
Taken from Buschur Racing web page...
I'm interested in this radiator, but I'd like to know more about it. Specifically if it'll be efficient enough for daily driving. I called and talked to Buschur, and they said they'd call me back (the guy didn't have the info with him) but I'm trying to some more homework, while I wait for their call.
Furthermore, how about fans? I need a slim fan that's more efficient than the stock fan.
Anyone have details on the efficiency of stock radiator and/or fans?

From the looks of it, it's smaller than a stock radiator. Should be okay if you're just driving up and down pit lane, but I don't know if I'd want to sit in traffic on a 90 degree day with the A/C on with that little guy. It's more geared towards a car that has other "stuff" that won't allow you to run a full size radiator, like a turbo that could suck squirrels and other rodents off the side of the road and into the impeller.
I believe PWR and Koyo make full size replacement radiators.

I don't know the formula but you could go half the width and make it up with core thickness and fin count. The biggest problem will be actually getting air to flow through it instead of around it. If you built some type of duct work to give the air no choice but to go through the core would help you in that scenario. As far as fans go I would use SPAL they've got a large range of fan sizes and blade configurations. You also have to consider fluid capacity. You wouldn't want any less volume than the factory radiator if it's going to be street driven or road raced.
I would call someone like fluidyne and explain your needs to them and see what they say.

That radiator is from a 92-95 HONDA Civic. All the radiator companies make them. I don't believe you want to go this route for a daily driver. Although it looks cool it's not going to keep your water temp where you want it sitting in traffic or at the drive thru. Oh and if you still want one we have the Koyo in stock.

really good for using an elaborate manifold and big turbo (since it gives loads of extra clearance), but these are typically "one pass" rads - meaning, drag use only, not really good for sustained use
